Beautiful... especially the lemon arbor and those Date Palms; so well-maintained (fed).

Delightful.💚 I brought a bougainvillea with me from Florida, when I moved to Texas years ago. Now you can easily find them in hardware stores sold as an annual, often growing in baskets. I kept mine inside, it flowered reliably for years, in front of my windowvwall before succumbing to aphids. The other problem being the constant drop of spent blossoms, something not noticed, when the plant is outdoors. 🌱

    Hi Rachel!!,
I'm from Galicia and yes, it's pretty dry at the moment. But this situation is not normal at all, it has been raining less than what it should for about 3 years now. So probably that's why those cyclamens weren't as healthy as they should even if they had artificial watering. And also those semisucculent plants were a bit dehidrated. Hope you enjoyed Galicia and Portugal.

Hey Rachel, I haven't been around to that side of the country yet, but it looks beautiful. Portugal, too....that bougainvillea was absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for sharing ;)

I can't believe you were in my country, Portugal! Hope you liked it :D
it is true what they're saying here: the Iberian climate has become a lot dryer in these last few years. This winter barely rained in northern Portugal and it was too warm for the season. not good news for us, gardeners and farmers...

I only spent a few days but what I saw of Portugal was absolutely beautiful. I hope to visit again another time. Thanks for watching.

glad you liked it. I love your channel, you are a great teacher.
I recommend the Camellia Festival in Porto (usually in March). The city is famous for it :)

Hi, the thing with Galicia's climate is that it's already bordering a mediterranean climate, and also think that Galicia is experiencing underaverage rainfall this year. :/ That's why Cyclamens are not very happy I guess this year in Galicia. :(
