I first talked to Harold Parker when I lived in Oregon in the 1980’s. He was looking for West Coast Bobcat Dogs. He bought at least three that I know of, and one of them was from me. He has bought dogs from every major bobcat hunting culture that does not depend on snow for their bobcat hunting. He had high power competition coon hound treeing walkers also. (He also has kept a line of cattle dogs). Harold Parker knows dogs. He has tried them all at tremendous cost. It is an education with extremely high tuition. I don’t know of another man who has paid the extreme price that Harold has paid. We all can learn from his successes and failures through several decades of bobcat hunting with hounds.
