When Christine kisses the Phantom out of pure kindness and understanding...I cry every time....because I feel so deeply sorry for him... to love but never be loved. This production is filled with so emotions and you can just feel it in the singing and acting...Bravo
This scene hits me so hard. Christine finally shows care and compassion for the Phantom and for him to truly love her, he gives her what she really wanted which was to be with Raoul.
Thank you for this. This cast is AMAZING. Especially Ben Crawford. Ben is incredible. He’s my favorite Phantom. He’s a powerhouse. Emilie and John are great as well.
I saw Paul Adam Schaefer, an alternate, and he was amazing. I'm glad i did, because comparing Paul to Ben, Paul seems so much better. When an alternate is better than the main guy, it makes you question the cast. Ben was great before covid, but ever since the show revived, his phantom hasn't been nearly as good. It seems like he's drunk, and there's no emotion.

Neither do I. Saw him twice a few weeks ago. I don’t like how he forms many of his vowels. Like when he sings “yewww” etc., same as “mewww-zic” you mentioned. As soon as he came in with the “insolent boy” I knew I wasn’t a fan
Probably because you’re told to not record the show, and this person had difficulty hiding his camera while filming. And when the people in front of him moved into his frame the focus changed.
After watching key parts again, I was wrong, I don't think I like her better than Crawford, at least in this performance, maybe she does better usually.
