How on earth am I going to live in ordinary rented property after watching these gorgeous renovations?! You guys are amazing! I have never seen a Ben-n-Erin project I didn't love! Very nice! What I don’t get is how kitchen islands are being designed lately. There’s either a stove top or a sink in them with seating directly in front. I don’t know about you, but my sink always has a drain board next to it and/or I’d be afraid of inadvertently burning myself on the cook top. Am I the only one thinking like this?
it didn’t seem like the wife liked the final result… it was like Erin had to convince her of why it looks good. made me feel a bit sad because I think Ben and Erin knocked it out of the ballpark as they always do!

I agree! She is the designer I like the most. She does so much on a small budget. I love what Keith & Evan do in Detroit on Bargain Block.

No. I don't like it either. I like an island to only be an island.
I worry children might get burned if there’s a cooktop there.
I don't care for it, I prefer a big butcherblock table. Keep the cook top and sink along the edges of the kitchen.

Love the bedroom wall color, looks like taupe. Prefer darker colors for sleeping areas. Behr paint called Sparrow is a really nice gray.

I didn't get that impression. It just seemed like the husband had a bugger personality to me. 🤷🏼♀️ She said, "I love it" so many times.
