One for the ages! Despite holding a 35-point lead in the second quarter, the Bombers allowed the Hawks to gain a 16-point lead with six minutes to play. The lack of match fitness was telling on most of the Essendon players, but with two minutes left and two goals needed to win, the Bombers dug deep and pulled off a miraculous victory against the reigning premiers. Full back Cale Hooker was the unlikely hero, kicking the winning goal with 57 seconds to go, and the Bombers withstood a late surge from the Hawks to claim one of the most memorable of victories to kick-start their 2015 season.

How did the Hawks lose this match. If they won that game they would of won 2 games but they didn't. I thought they need to get the ball a lot and quickly kick the ball into the forward fifty so the team won't score. But hawthorn lost by two points. I thought the bombers played well but I was expecting hawthorn to win because they won priemers ships in 2008 against Geelong 2013 against the dockers,2014 against the swans so they should of won. In the olden days Essendon beat hawthorn and i felt a bit happy for the bombers but I was sad that hawthorn lost that priemers hip in the olden days. They even won in 2015 but I love the Eagles a lot but I saw hawthorn play brilliantly and do so much skills. But I was very upset the Eagles lost because they meant so for our state WA and there season was terrific. If you go to Subiaco and watch the games they were going goal for goal so as Fremantle. But I want to know who's going to win the priemers hip next year in 2016. I hope it's eagles or FREO
My guess is that the bulldogs will pull it off.

@matthewfinis6723 after the tigers win in 2017, I believe that dom speed will kick a huge goal in the final minutes to win the grand final. Oh yeah, and essesndon still won't win a final until 2027, over 8000 days.
