Always appreciate your instal videos. These are gonna be on the short list to order for sure now. I really was worried about snaking a wire all the way to the back but seeing how they piggy back on the connector there is genius. I'd love to see a little discounted kit sold as a bundle from you though. These, the power folding mechanism, and the upgraded turn signals from electrical connection. Kind of an all in one ultimate upgrade for the mirrors.
I bought a set of these mirrors at winged Rider rally number 2 at niehaus cycle sales in Litchfield Illinois. Installed them just like you did. Easy as can be. The view is fantastic. Seeing traffic almost right beside you!
My question's a bit different - I'm sure that since the stock mirrors run afoul of the handlebars and stock levers at full lock, the extended mirrors would do so as well. However, do the extended mirrors long enough to run afoul of the handlebars/stubby levers that you have with the power folding mirrors? The video showed the mirror folding up after you shut off the bike, but the handlebar wasn't turned enough to see if there was clearance. As always, thanks for the info.
Looks like a great product. I have one concern though. If the bike were to fall over, would the new convex mirror now take the brunt of the fall and break negating your fall over protection on the mirror housing? It does stick out a lot.
Almost certainly, this is the problem with this product... if you tip over, it's definitely going to be broken to some degree, maybe even bad. But I don't think you'll hurt the expensive painted part or the face plate. You might damage the frame as well, but it's not much money. This will be the trade off if you feel these mirrors will make you safer.

Since the mirror sticks out further does that effect the tip over protection that's on the mirror housing will the mirror hit the ground and prevent the tip over protection on the mirror housing from protecting the mirror

Well, you did make me laugh, I assume the non lighted unit can be installed without assembly removal. As everyone if the bike falls over will the mirror take the brunt of the fall?
Yes, the unlighted mirror can be installed in minutes on the bike. If you tip over, it's definitely going to be broken to some degree, maybe even bad. I haven't installed the Muth ones before, not sure. Sorry!

@@Traxxion I was wondering if you ever thought about developing a longer adapter on the seat. Then you can take off the seat without disconnecting it. Electrical Connections won't.
Good question. I probably wouldn’t mind extending and splicing wires, probably just power and ground like the Muth Mirrors, I might give the led version mirrors a try. I like the extra view.

Not a bad idea. I'll think about that when they get the next shipment in.

Fantastic, Max. You are saving many riders a headache and money. Great, simple video.
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for the video, ordered mine yesterday and you have already shipped it out. Will put mine on this weekend.
Hope you like them!
@@Traxxion Just got them put on, what a difference they make. Glad I got the ones with the signal. Wasn’t hard to put on what so ever.

Nice but it seems to cancel the tip over protection since it extend beyond the housing of the original mirrror.

Very nice mirrors good video thanks for sharing

Hello friend. Please tell me after installing large goldstrike mirrors does it not touch the small atlbik brake lever when the mirrors are folded?
It definitely does not touch with the short levers.
If you have the mute mirror on your bike, will the new mirror attach to the mute mirror?
If you have Muth mirrors, they have to be removed to use this product.

Yeah, I can't see any demand for that.
I have the Muth mirrors installed. If I were to install the Goldstrike mirrors, will it fit the wiring that the Muths use?
This works with the stock Honda connector, so I don't know why not.

You need some cough drops, vicks ones are good.
