    Great video. Q: after you spot a good spot on a spare veneer, can you just leave the punched veneer on top of the spare, cautiously place the puncher in line and punch again?

      You could but I don't as it might stress to top layer that you are cutting through. I trace the hole onto the bottom layer and then punch just that layer. Enjoy!

    This is great for larger defects. What about smaller defects or tears in the burl. I've tried wood filler but it just doesn't look good. Also tried resin epoxy and this seem to be best approach but sanding is risky. Suggestions?

      UV resin, sets in 10 seconds, water clear and easy to sand

    Blown away. All this time I'd thought veneer patches were just obvious bandaids and I'd avoid sheets/areas w/ obvious defects. Had never considered patching w/ an existing sheet. Feel like an idiot. A happy idiot though to have found this.
