It's unfathamable society calls this organisation of abuse a religion. This woman's experience surpasses any scifi scenario and I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of trauma she and so many others had to go through.
So glad that you have given Claire the opportunity to speak about this, Scientology needs more awareness especially with your target audience who are the ones most vulnerable when it comes to being dragged into the system.

I have been invested in finding out about the inner workings and abuses going on in the church of scientology for decades now, and especially since Leah Remini first started speaking out, the work Leah, Mike Rinder, and Claire (amongst MANY others) are doing to expose the abuses happening within this cult is nothing short of incredible, cant help but admire their strength and courage when they know they will be targeted by the church for doing so, but hopefully now we are finally seeing the walls start to crumble and within the next few years the Church lose the stranglehold it has on current members and not be able to carry on to the level it has. ...their days are numbered.
Maybe invest some time into what Mike Rinder covered up in scientology.

This is one of the best interviews I've heard on the subject of this cult. Geordie, you asked excellent questions and Claire's heartfelt answers were very informative and moving 👏 When is the friggin FBI going to get off their arses and close it down?!!! There are still many children behind closed doors doing those audits on adults. Scientology teaches that children are thetans/souls, same as adults, but they are just in small bodies, which sets them up for all manner of abuses!!! that never get reported to law enforcement plus the victim gets blamed & punished!! FBI....do your job!!
Eh? FBI and CIA top heads are most likely in cahoots with Scientology. FBI who stile the cctv footage of nearby cameras post 9/11 and CIA who are mind control freaks are the last people to be trusted.

I went to a health and well-being event and was stopped by a Scientologist (they didn’t call themselves that) and was put on the dionetics thing. My sister was freaking out because my best friend had just been killed and they were asking me questions about it 😮 I fortunately never broke down but after that they sent me their book and kept sending me letters, which I just ignored.

Understand what you are saying, but when you are a child being brought up in a cult and all you are taught is the rules of the cult, you grow up believing that’s true. Fact is she started to understand it is wrong and escaped. Owning up and apologising for what you have done takes guts and she has done this. Now trying to expose the cult. But there will be kids brought up in this today who still don’t realise it is wrong and are yet to learn it as adults

During Danny Masterson’s FIRST trial (which ended as A mistrial), Scientology ALSO successfully infiltrated the court/jury system, & managed to get a man that they sent (whom lied abt himself+his past in jury questionnaire) picked for the the jury… AND he was picked as the foreman!!
This 1st trial unsurprisingly ended as a mistrial… the second didnt. And now the victims are making headway in civil court; & that lawsuit is a circus, much like Leah remini’s currently in the courts... but the victims are winning atm❤️.
By the second they had discovered the way it was done & at last minute the judge changed the start date to flush out anyone Scn had tried to plant & get picked as a juror again… so ridiculous/insane; however, it’s good the LA courts know now that it’s possible & can fix the hole which Scientology exposed. Insane.

7:00 Scientology actually never was really big they had like about 100,000 members at their heyday. Way less than eg jw's or the mormon church who actually have millions of members. Of course that doesn't make the harm they do any less.

Read the book Dianectics once. They would give them away to anyone who would take one. At the store in Tottenham court road. In London. It used a lot of words I had to keep looking up.
Didn't connect with me at all. It sounded boring.
But what really put me off them. Was their fashion sense. All the guys had the same hairstyle. And were wearing these blue trousers.With white shirts & blue ties. Which looked weird to me. Looked like clones of each other.
Ron Hubbard wrote some pretty good SF books though. Found out later that he was a follower of Alistair Crowley. The English occultist. He did some strange things too.
R.Hubbard once said that the quickest way to make a lot of money. Was to start your own religion. So he did & he was right about that at least.
Scientology has a very dark side to them. So glad I found it boring back then.
