If I won this I would dedicate it to my son who is 31 and put various Christmas photos of him with family members throughout the years. The title “Blessings” is perfect because he is such a blessing to me. I love how it turned out. These would make cute gifts too.
Thank you for creating a junk journal tutorial that is beginner - friendly, easy to understand and follow, and doesn't require sewing! I would love to try this to include memories of my beloved family members who have passed on, as well as my sweet pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge ❤🌁
This booklet would be a lovely Christmas memory keeper. I have photos from my first Christmas 58 years ago. I would add some of those to start with and continue with our family's happy memories. 🎄
What a darling project. Great gift giving project. One would be great to help document my great granddaughters first Christmas. TFS all the how-tos. Your creativity is boundless and thats a plus for us other crafters. You are so inspiring❤❤❤.
So so cute! I love it! I would love to try to make one but I’ll have to cut the 6 inch pieces because I don’t have anything but 12 by 12 sheets. I’ll give it a try tho!
Enjoyed seeing a different way of putting together a journal. A set of 12, one for each month of the year would make a treasured gift for somebody close. Thank you
I have to say this again....( I absolutely love watching your video creations ) ! This would be used as my 2024 Christmas memory album/journal. I just love it!!! TFS😊
Le Nae, you explain things so well for those of us who are intimidated like you mentioned 😅. TFS such doable projects that do not require tons of work/suplies. 😊
I love looking at Xmas paper. Amazing how we keep our papers just in case. I not only listen, I answer you. I think when I make one I will use it to save my favourite Christmas quotes/messages.🎄 Old Christmas cards have character. Great tutorial. 🤶🎅
This would make a great memory book for Christmas Day! I have six grandchildren and I would fill this with pictures of them on Christmas Day. I have never seen anyone use the bottom of the paper bag for a secret spot. I know there must be people using them, I’ve just not seen them. Beautiful book, LeNae!
What a terrific idea!!! Would be a gift and if you did a journal for a mom and give it on Mother’s Day or for a special day….. Love this idea!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!
I really like how this one turned out. The green little bag that pops open is so cute. I like the idea of putting photos in the journal. Christmas memories would be perfect for this.
Yes I have a stack of 6x6s. That is just a great project…I like the different binding..no sew. I have so many pictures of past Christmas’ that I can see placing some of them in the pockets and leaving room for the new ones. Just a wonderful idea LeNae. 🥰👍
Gorgeous 😍 ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 😍 ❤️!!!! Love it and love the simplicity in the basic obstruction!!! I know someone who loves to travel and can certainly see this as a great memory book for that. ❤
I am new to junk journaling and I was thinking of making something like this for my Daughter in law but had no idea how to start. Thank you for sharing. I think I can make this for her. You do a wonderful job teaching. Blessings. ❄️☃️🦋💜
What a fabulous idea! A great and quick gift to give. I would use it to tell of my family get together this Christmas. I have kids, grands and greats so will have wonderful stories and pictures!
You're wonderful. I LOVED sitting on the floor listening to Grandma and/or Granny tell stories of their days as kids! Those are my favorite memories. My grandma was born in 1901 and my Granny was born in 1903. They saw SO much change and growth during their time. They had the most interesting stories. I'll bet you've seen a thing or two yourself! hugs!
I just love this little journal! Thank you for the inspiration to use those pesky 6x6 papers !!! ❤ we are expecting our first grandbaby at the end of December and I think it would be perfect as a keepsake book for the ultrasound pics and arrival day. ❤
@@lenaecreates I think I'm going to steal an idea I read about making one with memories about different family members to pass to my son... Grandparents he never met great grandparents, aunts uncles etc... ❣️❣️❣️
I have watched dozens of junk journal videos. I like the variety of materials but my OCD heart needs more precision. You have combined both of my needs into one beautiful piece. I can do this! Thank you!
You come up with the best ideas for simple fast and. Fun projects that even a novice can do. Or for. An experienced crafting person to embellish. I plan to. Make them for. My WWladies. Thank you.
Love it! Just adorable 🥰 If I were to win this one, I would hoard it to myself & use it as a pattern to make several more! I make so many things & give most away, it would be nice to keep something for myself this time. 😉 Would you do an Instagram tutorial on the pop up bag? So darn fun.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful holiday project! Very easy to follow along, good instructions and great pocket ideas. Can’t wait to share with family and friends. Merry Christmas 😊
Another cute little project. Good way to use up some of my leftover papers from the various packs that I would not use together on cards. Thanks for the idea. I would use this to gift old family photos to my son.
Good morning 😃 I love how the patterns are mixed! Dots and plaids definitely “go” together 👍🏽. Thank you for this 6x6 😊 I hope you and yours have a wonderful rest of your November 🧡🙏🏽
I am pretty new to making junk journals and was looking for an "easy" way to start. Thank you for this wonderful video! Now I can't wait to get started!!
This is such a beautiful journal. Seeing you use vintage photos brought tears to my eyes. I lost both parents last year and I’ve been going through some family photos ~ so many I didn’t realize my parents had kept. I found many that were from Christmases when I was small. December is also my birthday month. I would use the journal to put in those vintage photos, and would document memories from my childhood. Thank you for showing us how to make the journal. I’ve done one before and love it. I put alittle vintage Christmas boy in the bottom of mine.
LeNae used one of these little bag bottoms on a previous video and I thought that was the coolest thing. I had never seen this done before either.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope this brings you some holiday cheer❤️
Congratulations to the winner!!
This journal is a great idea as well. I had started watching the other day - finished today. Immediately I thought about some Christmas 6x6 papers I have and wanted to work the journal “with you”. Had a bunch of interruptions though - my fridge made a weird sound on Tuesday and I panicked. Big time since I was prepping for Wednesday dinner due to my son’s work schedule. Suddenly I remembered to pray and I did. I was having trouble with getting service and the fridge was warming and warming. Well, I’m praying (I am a Christian/Bible Believer) and know God to have answered many prayers - even the everyday kind of things.
My fridge compressor seemed to have blown a w a blast, then groaned to silence. Well, between phone calls when my panic subsided it occurred to me (answer to prayer) to check the back of the (large/heavy) fridge. There was something impeding airflow which I had not realized and I opened the bottom back to vacuum the coils - which I used to do regularly for many years. I had thought it was inaccessible previously!
And the fridge slowly started cooling and cooling and cooling. Talk about being thankful!! I did go ahead and cook the homemade dressing and roast the Turkey knowing they could go in the chest freezer, with other things. But NOT the banana pudding. Yikes. And I’d gotten rid of my ice chest when I moved here. The neighbor loaned me one. But two dozen eggs just purchased? Small ice chest and all that?!?! Panic!!!
I know, this isn’t about crafting a journal but it is about delay and thankfulness to God for reminding me of what to do and the fridge is just fine today. I open the door and check the temps and thank my Heavenly Father!! Sigh.
So, yeah, maybe my version of a Christmas journal just might be a journal of thanksgiving. Do I use autumn style paper (I think I have some) or Christmas style? Maybe I’ll make both? ! To actually make anything will surprise me! Lots of want to but doing just alludes me. Or I “allude” the doing?!
