I had my craft fair yesterday. I did do well. A lot of my stuff i did for $3 or 2 for $5. I made almost $300. The only thing I didn't really sale goid were my handmade gift bags. Most of my ideas came from you. Thank you so much for your hard work. Keep doing what you are doing.
@letsgetscrappy2654 i think that's the last one for the year. I have other things I will be doing. I have a few people who contacted me to have a table with my products to sell at their Christmas parties. And I do love different. So of course I will be doing them. I have learned so much from you. 🥰
Thank you for this craft fair video- and for being so honest...for sharing all the good, bad and ugly. haha. PLEASE please do a Seattle get together! It would be so awesome!
That's a good idea dropping prices half way through the day. You know what I found is that when you make signs explaining what your items are for, I put an alternate use for it also. That way it will appeal to a wider audience. I make handmade cards and offer a "Sale" section. People gravitate to anything that's on sale. Make sure your signage is large for people to read without glasses too. LOL! I have also made "Kitschy" signs like "Exquisite Purse Dangles/Keychains", "Exclusive Bead Pens", "Exceptional Necklaces", etc. in a fun font. Whatever you can do to catch people's attention helps sell products. Many excellent wishes for exceptional future craft sales in the new year!
I don't do actual craft fairs but I did do one out of my garage that was a huge success, that was a few years ago and I made just over 7 hundred dollars, totally worth the hard work. I mostly sell word of mouth and yes, my stuff too is piling up. I also sell my albums for 100. and will not go lower, way too much work and those that love them pay the price willingly!!! Your stuff is gorgeous, go ahead and do the garage thing! Thanks for sharing!

I no longer do craft fairs with small amount items. I now sell items that sell for between $20 and $35 and just have a few lower priced items. Since making this change, I went from making a few hundred to an average of $1500 per fair. I also invested in making the booth look nice like crates and little trees from Hobby Lobby. That helps a lot!
I’ve done a few craft fairs and the way I look at it is if I made my vendor fee, then I made out LOL everything else is a plus because I just get more and more experience and I enjoy getting my name out them and my handmade cards ❤
I think a lot of people are having a hard time financially. Your craft fair was at the end of the month with a major holiday approaching, so maybe folks were needing to spend their money on other things. I think your prices are good, and your items are adorable and presented well.
I go to various pop-ups in Southern California and usually barely get my booth fee back. At first, I would get disappointed, but I kept going. I still don't sell or make much. Last week, I did better at my local church. But, I love crafting. I spend more on supplies than I'll ever make. 😂😂 You are such an inspiration to me. I love watching your videos. I would love to join you for a retreat. Next time I'm visiting family in Seattle, maybe I'll run into you. 😊 I agree that people don't want to pay for our time and effort. Someday, I hope to find my niche of people. Sorry if I'm rambling. Good luck at future events.
I totally agree with and understand what you're saying. I've been doing craft shows for 13 years now and I've done a total of 17 of them. You never know from year to year. What will sell and what won't? What people are looking for I do too holiday craft shows a year. And my first one back in November wasn't that great.I did the worst out of all of my craft shows and only made about half as much as usual. My next one is in a little more than a week and i'm very hopeful since it's closer to christmas that it will go better.❤
Yay if you decide to do a Seattle craft in, I'll be there! Loved going to Gingers when she lived here.😢 love seeing all your crafty goodies. Thanks for sharing.
I really think pricing is the hardest part of being in a craft fair/show. I watch a You Tuber from the Portland area, and she sells her items on what I call the upper side of the pricing scale. And she does sell a lot of items. She has never given a total amount, but she does say how many she has sold. So if you know what she priced things at you could guess at what she made and come close. My suggestion to you would be to walk around and look at different vendors items that are close to what you make and price them. Also, I would talk to the vendors and see what they think are their best selling crafts are. It does take a lot of work, to make everything, get your display things together, pack the car and drive to the venue, set up your booth, and look perky and involved all day. Boy, I'm tired just typing it. Good Luck!!
lol you cracked me up at the end 🤣. Yes i walked around, there was only 1 that was similar to mine. I just need to try different ones. Maybe I’ll go visit some this holiday Season ❤️
I had my best year ever 2 day $700.00 but we also had over 3000 people come through the venue I was at .... Our craft fair is a city-wide event that has 65 stops with probably 300 vendors. I was at a church with 25 vendors. I understand I am the only vendor who sells full blown Scrapbook Albums and Folios as the major items (and yes, Tiff, your folios sell well for me - and yes I put a 4x6 card in a pocket with the designer's name, youtube channel and folio name). Most of my albums and folios are not Christmas and I usually sell them for much less than I should, but I enjoy making them and have no room for them in my craft room. Then I sell other stocking stuffer/home decor type things to use up all the off cuts and leftovers from the major projects and things that I can make using up my stash of ribbon, yarn, beads, etc. Pokey tools are hard to sell but you have to give the customers ideas on how to use them in different crafts. In my market your pricing is about norm but what I hear other youtubers charge I could never get in my market. And yes, SIGNAGE, I hate to say it, but People Are Dumb. They do not understand packaging or how to use items, you have to explain to them and give them ideas on how an item can be used in multiple ways. I use 4x6 cards and dollar tree's bigger craft clothes pin for pricing and information.
Wow that’s amazing! So glad you had an awesome fair but dang 3000 people 😳 that’s a lot of people. I would be so exhausted. Which is was me on Sunday after the event. I was so dead to the world 🤣. Thank you so much for sharing I so appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️
If you are going to have albums and folios on sale it really helps to have an example. I have a folio with photos and a DAD album with photos in them. When I see people looking at the albums I guide them to the example and it helps solidify the sale
You're right. Every show could be a hit or miss. You'll never know. Keep making what you love. I do the same and most of the time, it works out. I bring mini albums to all of my shows. They are always a huge hit as far as people looking and commenting but I only sell a few here and there. I don't budge on my album prices either. If we tried to sell them for what they're actually worth, we'd never sell any. LOL Thanks for sharing your work and when you figure out how you're going to sell your leftovers, I'm all ears. I'd like to do the same but I hate messing around with shipping.
I would definitely be there if you organized a Washington retreat or Crop or something! It seems like most RUclips/Scrap get togethers are no where near Washington and it's hard for me to travel so that would be awesome if you did something! ❤ Can't wait to hear more details on this!
These would make excellent swap packages too for crafty friends. I used my leftovers one year for the teachers at my son’s school. It’s definitely hit or miss on what people are looking for at craft fairs. I saw way too many beadable pens at the one I went to this year. Your stuff is so pretty. I wish I lived in Washington! I’d definitely go to one of your crops or retreats. No one does those where I’m from. Nice recap, Tiffany :) I hope you had a good Thanksgiving 🩷
Great stuff I love your creative talent. I did my second craft fair yesterday and it was okay not great. I think for stocking stuffers next week is better in my opinion and I bet you can get the prices you want closer to Christmas. I’m on the east coast. Love your channel!!! I bet you can sell out if you sell online!!
Thank you 🥰. Hopefully you still had fun at your fair 🙏🏼. They are a lot of work but I feel like once you have a rhythm down it’s prob easier 🤷🏻♀️. Are you doing anymore this season?
Wow! You two had beautiful project at amazing prices! You’re so right, totally depends on your audience.. unless people are papercrafters they probably wouldn’t know what these items are!! Everything is beautifully done. Tsmfs ❤
I've been going to craft sales here in Salem, Oregon. I used to do craft sales years ago. The one thing I was disappointed in was most booths sold the same old things that have been selling for years (nuggets, files, hot cocoa, chap stick, tea holders, gift card holders, etc. ). Most things were too high priced.
All your items are so cute. Maybe you could turn the beaded dangle into a bookmark so the non crafty people can see another use. Maybe attached the dangle to a heavy piece of decorated chipboard in the form of a bookmark? Love all your items.
ALL your crafts are so beautiful and your prices are great!!! I learned this lesson the hard way about 10 crafts shows ago...shoppers at a show DO NOT know what Junk Journals, Travelers Notebooks, Pokey Tools, and One Page Wonders with flips and tucks are used for. You spend your whole day trying to explain to them and they look at you with an I don't get it look! p.s. Just so you know...Hershey Nuggets bag states that ALL the chocolates are produced on machinery that processes nuts. So even if the nuggets are plain chocolate they are still produced on the equipment that nuts are made on.
Love yr video. You made such awesome items. I think the economy is tuff right now & people aren't spending much. I love the pokey tools, I would offer them as stilettos for sewist & crafters.
Great stuff thanks for sharing. For the cards I make that are gift cards holders, I insert a little note saying it’s a gift card holder so customer knows without asking.
My dangles didn't sell either until I made a change to them. I see you did the same thing I did when I made mine. Your clasp at the end is to small. You need to have a carabiner hoop or a key chain hoop at the end. Also, I put key chain bars or pendants on them with beautiful beads. Otherwise they are very pretty with the cute Christmas dangle at the end! Increase your price accordingly. Most people sell them for $12.00 to $15.00.
TFS Tiffany...just suggestion for you on the Hershey nuggets I separate out each different flavor & create small Avery labels & put on back of tray so if people are looking for specific flavor they can tell which one the package is....
I entered my first craft fair. It was a small event and I practically gave away my items at low prices. I made $250. I was satisfied with that and would do it again.
Do you have an Etsy shop? I love the reindeer dangle! They are great for the TNs, planners and memory keeping! ❤ super cute ideas- thanks for sharing! 🎉sounds like pricing is reasonable! And cute products!
OMG! Your “pokey” things need to be stilettos for those that quilt/sew! You use them to guide the fabric under the needle as you sew. Be sure to put a sign stating they are “stilettos for the quilter/sewer in your family” and I bet they sell like crazy. I know at quilt shows they sell them for $20-$30.
Thank you for sharing because this is very helpful to anyone who is interested in doing a craft fair. The dangles are so cute and I think you could advertise them as purse/bags jewelry. My daughter got one from me and used it on her purse. I love the fact that you will try it again. Maybe open an Etsy for your albums and other crafty items as well so you can put the extra items on there. ❤❤❤
Love, love, love your stuff. Your presentation is top notch. I am also in Tacoma so would love to have a WA group get together. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I also did my first craft show this year. I have learned so much from you and appreciate all your help. ❤️
Great video Tiffany. Glad you pointed out that there are positives from a craft show aside from just the financial bottom line. Pokey tools, aka Amazon box openers, were beautiful, just a lack of knowledge from the general public that couldn't justify the cost. All of your offerings had darling packaging......Macy's for the win😊 If you decide on a WA retreat, I would consider another trip to visit my daughter 😂😂 Thanks again for the great recap.
Yep- Glad that you shared the good, the bad and the funny (people digging their feet into your rug🥴). I don't do craft fairs because it would be too much to carry the boxes and stands and stuff for me, but thats OK, I think that it would be a great way to not only sell your creations but as you saw, a way to engage with people. You should open an etsy shop or better yet, a web site. (ask my hubby, he can set you up with a web site. please, he needs something to do!) I think your items were wonderful, I bet if you had a live, you could sell everything.Oh, if you had a get together when I was in Seattle, I'd come!😁
@ yeah, not until 2026. This year we head to the northeast. So obviously do what you need to do. When I was in Texas we had a mini retreat with Bitty Penny and Party Planner Paperie. We also sold some stuff from our stash. We did quick projects. Maybe we might consider that in 2026? Idk- we can talk about it.
Hi. Yes it’s a die and I think it’s on sale right now for BF so I’ll post a link for you in the description box above. Give me a few minutes to copy and paste it 😉
You make such lovely items. I don't understand why you didn't sell more. I think your prices are spot on and affordable. Do you sell your items somewhere on line?
just finished my craft fair. it was one and a half day and i made 1000 Euro. prices from 10 to 30 euro per item. worst was last year where i made about 450 for also one and a half days. but this year was ok, i sold almost everything.
Love the pokey tools.. I’d buy please ship. I want several. Love all your projects. Sell them I’ll buy stuff from you. Omg! Washington retreat . I’d try to go I’m in Southern California.
Unbelievable that you didn’t sell well! Your pricing was great! People in Washington don’t want to spend money! I think in my area you would have gone home with a empty car❤.
Beautiful craft fair items!! Someome may have already commemted this but the pokey tools are also used for nail art, ive seen alot of people use them and the ones with the wax tips. Also those beautiful dangles of yours so gorgeous, you could advertise them as bag charms to use with purses or back packs if the clasp is large enough.
I only did one craft fair because I don’t enjoy it. But I wanted to see what would happen. It’s not a busy one but so close to where I live. I dabble in all kinds of crafting. At this fair I sold wreaths and upcycled projects and lots of things with live plants. I did about $240 in sales the first day. Table was so cheap I think less than $20. The second day was dead there and I only did about $120 in sales. My friend said I did great but I didn’t think so. I do better at my business. I do enjoy crafting but really would like an outlet that’s not a craft fair.
I did one the same weekend. I was cold as well, and that makes it harder when you are sitting. I have done about 5 shows and have been very disappointed. There are lots of great comments about my stuff, but not a lot of buying. Not sure if it the economy. My big seller is my post it notes. I tried the candy boxes and sold 6 to a friend. I am giving up shows. Just not fun for me. I have a bunch of stuff and going to try selling on FB and IG.
So sorry. Yea they def are hit or miss so I feel ya. The craft fairs aren’t for everyone. I’m going to try again next year and if they’re a bust we’ll see. It is still fun meeting new people 🥰
It is good meeting people. I try so hard not to be aggressive when they come to my area. You so want a sale but know you can't hover. I am still making things just because it is fun but not multiples like i was. My perfectionism comea out and cause me to stress and then it isn't fun any more. Thanks for all your great tutorials. Have a wonderful Christmas
I used to watch Amber, I made a lot of things for my craft fairs that she made on her videos. The first year, a friend of mine and I got in every craft fair we could. NONE of the stuff I made like hers sold. I never watched her videos again. But we didn’t do any craft fairs after that. Lost a lot of money. It was a shame. Not saying it was her fault, I am saying find out what people like and want to buy, in my area it just wasn’t anything she made in her videos
I’m so sorry that you didn’t enjoy the craft fair. It’s definitely not for everyone and it’s a lot of work for little return unless you can find a good one. I just love making things so thought I should try to sell what I make so it’s not sitting around. I’ll probably donate some goodies so it’s all good. Thank you for sharing your experience ❤️

I was totally thinking that about the nuts so I’m sure if someone was truly allergic they wouldn’t mess with any of it. But good to know ty 🥰
I love the nail file pkging! Maybe a sign saying stocking stuffers.
Totally my signing was horrible lol
Love yr video. You made such awesome items. I think the economy is tuff right now & people aren't spending much. I love the pokey tools, I would offer them as stilettos for sewist & crafters.
Oooh that’s a cute idea thank u ❤
Oh, I love that idea! I’m going to definitely try that for next year 😊. I need to get organized like you 😉🥰
I entered my first craft fair. It was a small event and I practically gave away my items at low prices. I made $250. I was satisfied with that and would do it again.
Thank you for sharing and good advice.
@@CraftyComeLately you are so welcome ❤️
Do you have an Etsy shop? I love the reindeer dangle! They are great for the TNs, planners and memory keeping! ❤ super cute ideas- thanks for sharing! 🎉sounds like pricing is reasonable! And cute products!
Not yet! I’m trying to figure out exactly what I want to do 🤦🏻♀️🤣. I might do a YT or IG sale so stay tuned 😉
@@donitamoore9748 wow you’re now the second person that has said this. I’ve never heard of it. Thank you so much for sharing 🥰
TFS! Would love a tutorial on the nuggets holders
@@lorybrown9117 ok I’ll do that tomorrow
Thank you for sharing because this is very helpful to anyone who is interested in doing a craft fair. The dangles are so cute and I think you could advertise them as purse/bags jewelry. My daughter got one from me and used it on her purse. I love the fact that you will try it again. Maybe open an Etsy for your albums and other crafty items as well so you can put the extra items on there. ❤❤❤
What do you use for flower centers?
@@CraftyComeLately all kinds of things. On these I got metal centers online then added the bling in the middle
Love, love, love your stuff. Your presentation is top notch. I am also in Tacoma so would love to have a WA group get together. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I also did my first craft show this year. I have learned so much from you and appreciate all your help. ❤️
Yay! How did your show go? Where was it at? I’m going to keep a list of everyone that says they’re interested. A crop would be really fun ❤
Mine was at a retirement community where I used to work. Top sellers were gift card holders, gift boxes and Hershey nuggets.
YES PLEASE! Please get us washingtonians together it would be so fun!!!
Wouldn’t that be so fun. Would you come over the mountains for one? Aren’t you on the East side of the mountains?
@ I would come over the mountains if you put one on!
Where did you find the collapsible baskets?
Great video Tiffany. Glad you pointed out that there are positives from a craft show aside from just the financial bottom line. Pokey tools, aka Amazon box openers, were beautiful, just a lack of knowledge from the general public that couldn't justify the cost. All of your offerings had darling packaging......Macy's for the win😊
If you decide on a WA retreat, I would consider another trip to visit my daughter 😂😂
Thanks again for the great recap.
I just LOL on a zoom 🤣🤣🤣 Your daughter is going to hate me 🤣
Hahaha. She would love it
Yep- Glad that you shared the good, the bad and the funny (people digging their feet into your rug🥴). I don't do craft fairs because it would be too much to carry the boxes and stands and stuff for me, but thats OK, I think that it would be a great way to not only sell your creations but as you saw, a way to engage with people. You should open an etsy shop or better yet, a web site. (ask my hubby, he can set you up with a web site. please, he needs something to do!) I think your items were wonderful, I bet if you had a live, you could sell everything.Oh, if you had a get together when I was in Seattle, I'd come!😁
Awe thank you. If my daughter doesn’t finished it I might just check in with you both 🤪. When are y’all going to be up this way again?
@ yeah, not until 2026. This year we head to the northeast. So obviously do what you need to do.
When I was in Texas we had a mini retreat with Bitty Penny and Party Planner Paperie. We also sold some stuff from our stash. We did quick projects. Maybe we might consider that in 2026? Idk- we can talk about it.
That frosty mug is adorable! Is that a die? So many cute items!
Hi. Yes it’s a die and I think it’s on sale right now for BF so I’ll post a link for you in the description box above. Give me a few minutes to copy and paste it 😉
Do you ever sell on Etsy or Facebook? Because I’d totally purchase from you! Love your stuff, love your tutorials and I feel so inspired! Thank you 😊
Awe thank you. As of right now I don’t but sounds like I need to after reading all the comments 😉🥰
Fellow Washingtonian here! Would love a get together. Thanks for sharing all your craft fair info!
I’ll keep yall posted to see if I can find a place for next year 😉
You make such lovely items. I don't understand why you didn't sell more. I think your prices are spot on and affordable. Do you sell your items somewhere on line?
Was the amount you took in after costs of the booth and materials or without that taken out?
Will you sell any of the things that didn’t sell? I’ve seen several things I’d like to buy. I love the things you make.
@@robynlutes1415 thank you 🥰. I’m trying to figure out the best way to do it since several people have asked the same question. Stay tuned 😉
just finished my craft fair. it was one and a half day and i made 1000 Euro. prices from 10 to 30 euro per item. worst was last year where i made about 450 for also one and a half days. but this year was ok, i sold almost everything.
@@krempel_und_klumpad oooh that’s a good sale if you did $1000 over a day and a half 🎉🎉🎉. Way to go. What kind of items did you have in your booth?
Where did you get the die for the mini coffee cup
Love the pokey tools.. I’d buy please ship. I want several. Love all your projects. Sell them I’ll buy stuff from you. Omg! Washington retreat . I’d try to go I’m in Southern California.
Karolina told me that I just need to sell stuff here on YT. I’m too scared 😬🤣
I’m interested in Disney packages of Sequins. Where would I find how to buy them?
I might try to do a sale either here on YT or on IG. I’ll let y’all know this week 😊
Unbelievable that you didn’t sell well! Your pricing was great! People in Washington don’t want to spend money! I think in my area you would have gone home with a empty car❤.
lol yea we’re pretty cheap here 🤣🤣🤣. I wish that I had another fair lined up to see how they compare
@@SweetTeaAndPaper LOOOOVVVEE that idea. Thank you so much. ❤️
The Frosty the Snowman cocoa holder is absolutely adorable!! Was that a die or cut file you used?
@@leannesmith8281 I just linked the die on the description box for you. It’s sold out right now but ScrapDiva has more coming in 😉
@@letsgetscrappy2654thank you!! ❤❤
What about lanyards or badge holders for using your beads. I love your pokey tool, I would buy one
I just love making the pokey tools tho. They’re soooo fun 🤪. Stay tuned I might do a YT or IG sale soon
Oh man so far I want to buy everything
@@knitthompson lol too funny. Thank u so much 🥰
Do you have a tutorial for the little Hershey nuggets
I don’t but I can do one. There is a bunch out there but if you’d like me to I sure will 😊
@@letsgetscrappy2654 I would love it bec yours is the prettiest I’ve seen
i live in Australia can you tell me where you get the pin part from please
Do you mean for the pokey tool? If so I order them from Hobby Lobby
How can i purchase one of your poker tool? So beautiful 😍
Ty. I’m going to see if I can either sell them on here or my IG. Stay tuned ❤
I know. It’s so hard to figure out if they’re worth it or not. But I do love making all the things. That part is fun. 🥰
@ Me too, but I should move it along. Lol. Lots of people do well with Facebook marketplace
Thank you for sharing. ❤
Do you sell the dangles on line ie Etsy?
No but a lot of people have asked for them so I’ll figure something out
I did one the same weekend.
Everything was very cute….some shows people just don’t appreciate the cost and labor that goes into handmade crafts.
Putting prices on the package helps them sell.
Agreed 🥰
Love the pokie tool! Do you sell them on line?
@@dorismoore3701 no but from the sounds of it I need to figure out how to do it 🤪. Stay tuned ❤️
@ would you ever have a tutorial on them?

If your
Minnie Mouse pokey is still available, I would love to buy it!!!!
All of them are, I’ll try to figure out how I can sale them this week 😊
@ thank you!!!
I put duplicate baskets on the bottom shelf
Another good idea ❤
I would like to buy a couple of them. Do you ship?
I’m going to try to figure out how to sell them to you all this week. Stay tuned 😉
@ me too! I was excited, and I STILL have a lot of it in my craftroom🤣
Who do you like to watch on RUclips??
@@kelliannoakey2050 frankly, I’ve been so crazy busy that I haven’t been able to watch YT for a minute now. But I try to support all my friends channels. I don’t know that o have a favorite anymore, My Sisters Scrappers was my go to 🥰. Who are your faves? Would love to find some new channels.
From what I've seen after years of doing craft shows, craft supplies and crafting tools very rarely sell well.
I know. I just had them in a box and thought let me try. At least they brought over the traffic ❤️😊
@@letsgetscrappy2654 true. I hope I didn't sound criticizing or anything. I was just saying that I'd noticed that. My friend and I would go together and she had some beautiful crafting supplies and tools and some people were quite rude saying things like, "this is a place to sell crafts, not your leftover supplies". It really hurt her feelings and I hate to see anyone be discouraged like that. I'm glad it brought traffic to you and not rude comments like she got.❤
The poky tools.
and could you tell me if the have a special name thank you
Special name for what? Sorry I might’ve missed it?
sorry i was taking about the pin you use to make your pokey tool
I would not think it was worth my while for $140.00. It would have to be at least 10 x’s that amount for me to do it.
Interesting voices you use throughout the video 😮 and the nails clanking on the table. 😮
