My buddy Cody just picked up a 2017 Specialized P Slope the other day, so we decided to give it a review and dirt jump Test at Barnum bike park with my other buddy Tim DaCosta and his whole family. (we didn't steel the baby)

ill be getting this soon but before i do ill like to ask you since you got the bike, can a rear or front Derailleur be added also is a drop post with a cable that runs in the seat tube is it possible to have it hidden in there? thanks in advance. also can a chris king heat set be added, will be a custom build.
there is no hole for seat dropper and you cannot run a front derailleur.
as far as a rear derailleur I don't think you can run that either.
if you want to run all of that gear you may want to check out a different frame that's meant more for Gears and derailers like the NS soda.

I like the colors as well since i want something full of colors the NS soda looks just as good, it does everything im looking for, and looks like the has the specialized p slope style, now i got to find out where to buy it here in NY, thanks again.
I really like the single front sprocket and 10 gears in the back the new systems work really good and you don't have to run any type of chain guide up front.
true, i will be doing no front derailleur but wanted to know far can i got if it was possible, a buddy of mine told be about the front single sprocket is the way to go today. im kinda sad about the specialized since it was my first bike to get into the game but say what, change is good and the NS slope looks just as nice. thumbs up.

Can I add gears to the p slope? Front and rear?
No front. maybe rear. If you want to run Gears I would look at the NS Soda,

i find it funny that that mtn bike is built for jumps and they give it to a BMX'er to test it out on jumps...
The point was to show how easy it is to switch from bike to bike. I think it says a lot about the bike if you can just hand off the bike to someone who's not use to it and they got though the line first try.
