- In “No Exit,” Havana Rose Liu (“Mayday”) makes her feature film leading role debut as Darby, a young woman en route to a family emergency who is stranded by a blizzard and forced to find shelter at a highway rest area with a group of strangers. When she stumbles across an abducted girl in a van in the parking lot, it sets her on a terrifying life-or-death struggle to discover who among them is the kidnapper. Directed by Damien Power (“Killing Ground”) from a screenplay by Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari (“Ant-Man and the Wasp”) based on Taylor Adams’ 2017 novel and produced by PGA Award winner Scott Frank (“The Queen’s Gambit”), the film stars Havana Rose Liu, Danny Ramirez (“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” “Top Gun: Maverick”), David Rysdahl (“Nine Days”), Dale Dickey (“Winter’s Bone), Mila Harris (“Young Dylan”) and Dennis Haysbert (“Breakthrough”).

I think if the guy from Allstate insurance is in this, then she and the girl should be in good hands 👍🏾
Am Guessing Disney Didn’t Add Blumhouse In This Film
YEAH! BUT HE WAS THE PRESIDENT BEFORE HE WORKED FOR ALSTATE!
💀 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know him from 24. You guys gotta stop watching those commercials lol
It’s actually a pretty good movie for what it was. I almost felt bad for the “enemy” as well…there’s a lot of emotional pain in this flick coming from all the characters that I didn’t expect.
This was a really good movie and the “enemy” does have a sad story
They.. kidnapped.. a.. kid.. for.. money.. WHAT
Thanks for the review💖
Nah ur dumb
Havana rose Liu in this film is such a phenomenal actress one of the best I’ve seen
💯
I just read the novel and didn’t know there was a movie about it. I hope it lives up to my expectations because I absolutely loved the book.
So, Did it live up?
Because i just finished the book and loved ir ss well and i dont wanna waste time watching this if the book wasnt done justice
@@kawther1110 The movie was interesting however there were some discrepancies and things that weren’t true to the book. I won’t give any major spoilers but will give a small example. In the movie Darby was shown to have a drug problem and the story actually begins with her escaping a clinic after finding out her mother has cancer. Of course in the book, the story begins with Darby in her car without ANY mention of her having an addiction.
The characters were handled far better in the book in my opinion. Lars was much creepier in the book and Ashley was much more charismatic.
There were also some other little things that the movie did wrong in terms of the order of events (for example, when does Ashley get the nail gun, when does Darby figure out that there is a kidnapping etc.). Some things were misplaced and other events weren’t shown at all.
Overall the book did the story better because it kept you in suspense and added much more details but I definitely recommend you watch the movie if you have spare time because it’s not terrible but it’s also not amazing. If I had to give it a rating I will give it a 6/10.
@@thracianking thanks for the input! kinda sad that important characters like Ashley and Lars (that i was absolutely intrigued by when reading) didnt live up to their book version but somehow i still wanna check this adaptation. Curious to know what changed and what did not (especially darbys storyline) so yes i will prolly pick this movie like planned then and will get back to you with my own rating. Thanks again!
You're one of those people
@@thraciankinghi. Can u suggest me similar movie like this.
This movie is so so so much freaking awesome. Guys, don't miss it.
I just finished it. It's awesome
Why is the rating so low ?
This movie is so much underrated ...like for real one of the best thrillers ever
Yeah it gives Panic Room vibes
I love Darby's actress so much, I really enjoyed the movie, although my anxiety was through the roof 😭
Same lol just watched it yesterday
Ha..ha...‼️😐😐
So excited! I loved this book.
Looks great and glad hulu getting great films too
Time to mark the calendar for movie night lol
it got me crying in the ending, great movie!!!
It's worth a watch. Unsure if I want to see it again. It gets you the first time.
Love this movie!!! ❤️
I love this movie❤ not soo much cast but they are amazing. The twist and ending was awesome highly recommended 10/10
Underrated, flew under the radar during the height of Covid.
I used to work in a video store, we had three-day rentals on the weekend, and a movie like this is what I called a Sunday Movie. It's a psychological thriller. When they returned their rentals, I would always ask in what order did they watch the movies. Comedy, Action, Horror, Drama, and Science Fiction movies were normally watched Friday and Saturdays. But for some reason, Psychological Thrillers, Documentaries, and Foreign Films were watched on Sunday?
Friday nights are comedy nights for me.
Saturday nights are more family oriented movies
And Sunday horror and psychological movies
It’s just like that. Never a pre planned thing but it’s definitely a pattern for me. 🍿
Hmm.. Interesting.
Interesting! That seems to sound about what I’d guess. Darker movies definitely have a more Sunday feeling.
That’s such an interesting observation.. I always thought I was the only one who liked thrillers on a sunday. Also love my crime docos on Sundays
That’s weird because today is Sunday… and i watched it. Lol
This types of movies I love
Whole time this was an Allstate commercial 😂😂 plot twist
Watched “No exit” last night with my husband & it was really good!!
This was so freaking good 😊 and the actress who play Darby So pretty 😍
As soon I saw the Allstate guy I had to watch 🤣
Ugh so good 😩 brilliant 👏
I know about this story because of Stephanie Soo, slightly interested to see how they'll adapt it.
Con un gran guión y buenas actuaciones esta es mucho mejor que algunas películas con grandes nombres, efectos y publicidad!
Suspenso del bueno!
Can’t wait for this, such a good book!
Books was pretty good. Movie really sucks.
@@Tigermarketchile agreed. I feel like they had to TRY to make as little tension as possible. The book read like a great movie… all the had to do was MAKE THE BOOK A MOVIE!! Also, needed an R rating.
@@Adrien_bronerthe movie is based on a book genius.
I didn’t expect Ashley to look like that. I just read the book. I know I can’t watch the movie till I’m older given it’s rating, but I didn’t imagine any of them looking like that 😅. It’s so weird when you watch a movie (or movie trailer) based off of a book and the characters are so much different
Man that was a great movie
Heard about this on the Stuff You Should Know podcast. Looks good. Can’t wait to see it. Thanks Josh and Chuck.
Nicht zu empfehlen
Me too!
If you're on the fence about this one, don't be cuz it was rly good
Omg the book was amazing and a lot of this is how I vision it in the book. I am so excited!!!!
I will have no exit without this movie
This movie was sooo good! Worth the watch.
Great film.

Saw this movie last night yep worth a look for sure
pretty solid, watched last night.
Omg this is the book Stephanie was talking about! The plot is slightly changed but everything looks good!
Yeah! I just realized!
Here from that episode 😁
Yo this movie is crazy. I just saw it, 10/10 recommend
Awsome movie. Just watched it. 'Killing Ground' (2016) from the same director is awsome too.
The book was really good. This looks great.
It was so gooddd
This one was really good.

Hidden gem 👍
A very nice movie !!! Action thriller !

Stephanie Soo brought me here. Excited to watch this movie
Waa a good movie

Rivet gun was the most powerful weapon in this one
Looks like a good movie ☺️
O,

Just watched the film. Actually very good. Recommend.
The book No Exit is exciting!!!!
Der Film bisschen krank
This was a really good movie I enjoyed it
Good movie!! 🍅🍅🍅🍅
Absolutely brilliant. Fresh and exciting. Ignore the downers
Hey this was actually pretty good. I also suggest RUN and false positive
Classic 🔥😊
This was a good movie, it will have you yelling at the tv. The wife and I really enjoyed it.
Aaa here bc of stephanie soo
The book was good
Stephanie Soo's BAM brought me here!
Not how I pictured Darby, Sandy or Ed. The descriptions in the book are so different but hope it doesn’t disappoint. Just got done reading the book
Different skin suits
Is it gonna be in cinemas??
It reminds me a little of Identity with John Cusack. And Identity was brilliant 👌
And better than this movie rated more like 5 out of 10. Watched Identity movie twice same day. That movie a 10 out 10 plus!!
Literally my thoughts
Fascinating
So the beginning part NEVER happened in the book, but aside from that, it looks like a good adaptation.
I haven't read the book so I don't know, and don't want to look anything up so I can avoid spoilers. With that said, the beginning scenario seems to set up a plot line that would prohibit her from contacting authorities and simply waiting it out until the storm clears, then calling police as she leaves (or something like that), does the book have something like that in which she can't contact police or does it rely on the storm and no phone service?
Actually she thought back to having taken time off from collage? But you are correct.
I know that movie adaptations need to simplify, but I hope when it comes to who's van it is and why the girl's in there is just as messed up as it is in the novel!
The door hinge part is- that was bad!!
@@robertcallahan760 In the book, the snowstorm is an impediment to calling the police. When she does get enough service to send a text, she accidentally gives the wrong rest stop name. Super stressful book, lol, I’ll bet it’s going to make a good movie!
@@christinah4018 IT SURE DID!
We know that Van the girl is locked is in "IN GOOD HANDS" with AllState
With so may missing little girls' i'm not surprised The flasher is drooling so much...
It's too bad I can't buy or rent this movie like all the other movies on RUclips because I would buy it 💯
Ok that changed fast
I cried at the end 😭☹️
i remember hearing about the book because of Stephanie Soo Baking A Mystery 👀👀
U know what's the scariest thing is no Wifi
The lead actress is so gorgeous 😍 holy smokes 🔥🔥
Yep, it's him. It's a good movie
Link?? رابط
🤩🤩🤩
No Exit
*Literally Exits*
It's a lot more complicated than _Which one is the kidnapper?_ And it's a situation that went from bad to worse even before Darby showed up. The book's better but the movie's pretty good, I recommend it.
I came here bc of stephanie who else???
Me
This looks very Intriguing 🤔
Not to bad, not to bad at all.
Seems like someone holding them hostage might watch it later
I came here becuz that girl from tik tok who gives movie ideas told me to, I don't regret it
Did the trailer give it away with the voice doing that countdown?
They muffled it a bit, but you can tell it's not the all state guy aka president palmer
Am I the only one getting hateful 8 vibes?
I have watched this movie at 6:35 pm today
The kidnapper is unexpected
kinda makes me mad that the girl stared off screaming instead because of her just seeing her hand and questioning if it was real until she went in the van but i’m also a person who HATES when movies based off books don’t include details from the book 😑
exactly I’d rather reread the book then watch the movie. She’s not even a read head 😂
I like the movie it got crazy at the last 30ish min. Tho it’s more of a it’s good but very independent type movie and was well made
Is it worth to watch?
Hello
I give 4.5 stars out of 5 stars
Yo viniendo a ver si dicen quienes eran los asesinos
Basically gave it away
