Inside the fluid pan where you pulled plug there is a secondary plug that takes a Allen wrench to remove, that will drain any and all trans fluid. 2.5's are 8 or 9 quarts and 3.5 like mine is 11 quarts
There are two filters one is a cartridge type and it's located in front just above the pan. Changed both of mine recently. But the cartridge filter is a bitch to get to you have to be patient and take your time.
@@jamesmelvin9262 hey bro I appreciate this video it helped me! saved me big time I'm still driving the car, now its got almost 240k on it and iv been blessed to have bought a new car as well appreciate ya g
@@BlaineRogersidgt there actually is two filters brother it's like a Lil cast aluminum one bolted on the inside of the trans and it just kinda pops in I wanna say it had like a little o ring on it buy your video helped me alot I was still able to find the second filter so we are all good
My car turns on an it stays on but when I put it in drive don’t move or reverse don’t move So A mechanic came a looked at it an said that the transmission filter is clogged that’s why it’s not moving. It’s a Nissan Altima 2007
A great presentation as most people will do this the same way in the driveway too.
thank you kind sir!!
most of the time it won't help, because the instructions are shit.

Nice video. My 2008 2.5 holds about 7 quarts. I did add an external cooler though
What is the capacity of the transmission fluid with changing the filter? Thank you.
What is the color of cvt oil nissan altima 2008
Is the car still driving to this day?

Yea there’s 2. Nissan says it’s unserviceable but it is. They sell the other filter at the auto parts store.

Bummer dealing with fluids with all that wind.
Buen video pero le puso silicon al gasket o no eso queria ver .
Creo que tiene 2 filtros esa transmisión
Your awful brave working under that car with only that jack supporting it.
been shot 5 times arms length away with a .40 cal. being under a car only supported with a jack and all 4 tires is the least of my worries
Please only use Nissan CVT fluid. It runs really strong with it.
$100 is absurd
@@jayfields5939 It's the only fluid where the Nissan runs good with
