I know this may be a chat show, but there are few too many personal questions about religion I think, considering Brandon was probably there just to talk about music. The host should have steered the conversation onto something else sooner, as Brandon clearly wasn't fully comfortable with the religious questions. When the host said "and on tour constantly" was also very rude, as it was like a dig at Brandon after already making him think about being away from family - he could've then at least thanked him for his time.
I don't think it was a rude line of question. They were very polite and like the other guest said, the questions stem more from him being a religious and and in a rock bank, than from him being religious - the two do not generally seem to go together. They were fair and he represented himself very well. Also, Mitt Romney asking for his endorsement makes the questions all the more relevant. I'm not religious but giving him the opportunity to talk about his faith made me have more respect for him and like the band more than I already did!
