@@swissraver9286 indeed, but stuff like Never Back Down, Dusk Till Dawn and The Edge comes really close to that euphoric side. Would be awesome to see a collab in that style with Heady’s style, cuz this would actually fit! The Overdose-style probs too much for Willem, but they got as far as getting Sound Rush to play Bassline Junkie and making a collab so who knows 🤣

The change at 3:18 really gives me the chills.
Such a hard bassline with an epic and beautiful piano melody: this the true genius of Heady.
I think the melody was like 80% JDX and 20% Heady. I have never heard sg like that before and i know that JDX always comes up with sg absolutely unique and memorable sound. Production is the best this year without a doubt and i am so glad, this collab happened.
That switch makes the song for me. So good
When I first saw Headhunterz and JDX were collaborating for one of the Qlimax anthems of this year, I already knew that it would have been an excellent track. But, man.. They didn’t only come up with a masterpiece; they literally revolutionised hardstyle music. I hope this can be the first of many collaborations between the two. You can hear passion, knowledge and experience in every single frequence and note. 🧡

How does it feel that this ""mainstream EDM / pop"" track was the best from this Qlimax and not 'Enter The Realm' nor 'Light Of Darkness'?
@@Isaac-RJ no there are some that very acceptable melodic hardstyle such as the phoenix of the night, my beautiful fantasy, my shadow, etc. Also other that you mentioned is almost same as this song. You can like this song but saying one of the greatest while alot miasing hardstyle element is too much
@@puntech3248 curious, the ones you mentioned are rawphoric, not euphoric. Rawphoric has an advantage: It combines both worlds - The beauty in a melodic and emotional track and the energy and adrenaline in an aggressive track.
It also has a disadvantage, many people listen to that subgenre because they think going full euphoric is something gay (that isn't even an insult but they (raw fans) mention it), pop and mainstream.
For a better explanation try to see euphoric as a movie, then kicks, basslines, screeches aren't the main character, while synths, and the melody created with those synths are the main characters.
So you can't go here and there listening euphoric tracks and say it's pop just because it doesn't sound as aggressive as you want and that is a rookie-raw-listener mistake, having raw expectations in euphoric tracks.
*Only real and loyal hardstyle fanatics can understand that*
