    The term liberal does not definitionally apply to Locke. He still advocated a conservative life-style as he was a Christian-Deist of a Socinian interpretation of Christ's nature.....& he was only "Liberal" in the sense that he believed in letting people discriminate for themselves who to invest in & what for,.....but he was conservative by both modern & past definitions on every other issue. He also did not deny the authority of lineage, but rather ignored this monopoly of autonomy acclaimed by the royal family in regards to being the descendents of ADAM. In private, I suspect he talked about Shem & Ham...neither of which were White & of the Line of Japheth.
