Having watched the two press conference vids this morning I would agree with you that this guy looks to be a manager on life support. In terms of his job of course. He just looks a manager that is running out of chances to trot out the same vague, non specific answers to questions. Also with less and less credit in the bank to do so. I noticed at the end of the broadcast section he tried to take the micky out of the journos as if he’s got to try that at least once in every presser. I wonder if he does these things to try and maintain this image of himself as a larrakin and to also try and show dominance over the press pack. Today it just came across as quite desperate. Finally in the embargoed section he was asked a couple of questions that weren’t really that prodding but would have made him uncomfortable because he does anything to wriggle out of scrutiny in these pressers. even with these weak journos that for most part rarely provide any.
