I still have my Super NES games (4 of them) and I will play them again when I get another Super Nintendo control deck console, and then play them on the Super Nintendo soon in my house, get more games, along with the accessories the Super Advantage, Super NES Mouse, Capcom Fighter Power Stick, Fighter Stick SN, the Power Plug, Super Game Boy, and the Superpad Controller.
Hi Nate, it's awesome to finally see a collection walkthrough. Curious on your thoughts about ever tracking down a CRT television. I know every situation is different and it's probably hell to move one into the basement, but CRTs have been one of the biggest upgrades for me for playing retro games.
I like the crt, but I'm lucky enough to have room for multiple tvs I'm my basement, so I got options. Honestly if I had a smaller space, I'd look into modern retro game solutions for retro consoles. But I live the crt for sure!
I got a 27" sony trinitron tv cabinet for free on the side of the road. Ordered a oem remote for $8 and booted up my current snes game to beat- the mask
You ever just been so drunk you sell Super Mario RPG to someone? Happens to the best of us. Man, those flashbacks to season 1. Getting me all nostalgic. Great video, brother.
I started my snes collection from 0 in oct 2020 after losing 400+ games from my youth. I made the decision to make it more fun and a challenge. $0 spent out of pocket. Can only get funds by finding free couches/furniture locally than sell for $(-gas etc). Doing so in today's price market IVE PASSED 400cib with 500+ different titles or manuals. Spent $0 but managed to sell 40k+ in free furniture over time
@@yeahtbh.161 I've sold 250k in furniture, I owned and operated a junk removal service so I was paid to take it and my crew would bring back the good and I'd sell it. But you probably knew that
@@Jameson11ink I mean you can keep telling yourself that you got the snes lot for free bro it doesn't bother me 😆 Sounds like it was far from free and you invested tons of hard work and time but hey whatever helps you sleep at night.
People would use super glue back in the day when labels were coming off. My mom found a copy of Pocky & Rocky for 3 bucks at a thrift store but the label was basically destroyed because of super glue. Very nice collection, btw. SNES is getting tough to collect for due to the skyrocketing prices.
Red Dwarf, nice. Your game room makes mine look like an unorganized trash heap. I'm afraid to catalog and price out my entire collection. I know it's the smart thing to do with a collection this large, but I'm afraid that once I put a number to it something bad will happen. I had a flood after I priced out my SMS and Genesis colection. I used to have a bunch of pricey SNES games, but at some point in the last twenty years they seem to have disappeared. I miss Lester and Matthew. I think my SNES collection is around 150, and mostly loose carts. It is the only major console release since 1971 that I don't have CIB, but I have about 10 or 12 of them loose. I'd sell the majority of the games I own, just keeping my childhood favorites. I'd also sell most of the extra consoles. I probably wouldn't sell my Atari or Master System collections.
Thanks for the reply bro, I miss edt1138 every Tuesday on my feed 😉 Red dwarf rocks! I think I'll use it for every video in this series. Isn't it thought provoking seeing how this retro gaming space has shifted in the over decade long time we've been in it? Lol we're OG's in this game 😂😂😂 If your ever archive your collection, I'd love to see that video. Years I spent trying to keep up a spreadsheet and ask that, but this app has kept me in track! I love it.
I have three super castlevania and super double dragon ahhaha I got even 2 brawl brothers despite it being a B tier game at best. I figure it’s best to grab these in good condition before they get rarer due to age and thus more expensive.
My friend asked me why I scored two combatribes and contra 4’a off him as he has a booth at the flea market and I said one for the collection and one for usage. I’ll never part with my games either.
Damn, I thought I had alot of Super Nintendo games. Definitely my favorite game console of all time. I really enjoy all the Super Mario World remakes, and rom hacks. I have well over 40 of those. 🤷♂️
I have all the super Nintendo entertainment system Nintendo super famicom Nintendo entertainment system Nintendo and Nintendo famicom roms on my phone I use emulators
Original hardware, but that's more Apathy or laziness, as opposed to fanaticism for original hardware lol. Vintage is good enough as opposed up spending energy getting into new hardware lol
This video is the clear....indication to NOT get into collecting right now. You just showed what you paid for these games and what they are worth now...........that is very discouraging for someone who is new to the hobby. And in NO way do I think ANY snes game is worth more than MSRP loose. Most sold for 20-50 brand new. And a few games like FF2 sold for 74.99 at stores like Woolworth. And that is what "Most" people on youtube have done. Collected most of their games in the early 2000 to 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 ect. The boom happened at about 2015-2016 and then it went nuts in 2020.

Dang! What a collection. Donkey Kong Country holds a special place in my heart as well.
SNES is the best console of all time imo.

What the hell haha. How did you do that? You must live in Arkansas or something
So you actually spent 40k on the snes collection after working your ass off shifting furniture all over the place...

Amazing collection! Where did you get that floating shelf for your SNES games??
Great video buddy! You are 100% wrong about Ff2 being the best rpg but it is a solid 3 behind FF3 and Chrono Trigger. Lol
Don't forget Secret of Mana and Earthbound.
Super (pun intended) fun to watch!
