- Hyperloop, a transportation technology project announced several years ago that could have transported passengers from Kansas City to St. Louis in 30 minutes, is reportedly ceasing operations.
Obvious bullshit was obvious. Any one who bought the hyperloop hype is a fool.
An artificial vaccume hundreds of miles long was always impractical. We don't even have maglev trains linking these places
facts but those Elon fanboys eat up anything he touts
What kind of repot is this? Montage of people talking about the future of Hyperloop. Doesn't talk to anyone connected to answer the question of why it failed.

You do need to get rid of the electric Jesus from South Africa. As a European I'd say longing for a Fuehrer is so unamerican. Hyperloop is stupid on so many levels. Just ask any engineer how much energy it takes to create and maintain a vacuum. Keeping large pipes airtight across stretches hundreds of miles is close to impossible. Btw. the idea the concept is about one hundred year old.
The boring company is an even greater joke. You have large roads with lot's of lanes in large US cities. Now you are going to build endless numbers of tunnel in order to inject even more cars into an already plugged and jammed system via the 3rd dimension? How genius is that?

Dang! As someone who travels I-70 frequently both East and West this is a disappointment!
At least there is a MODot project underway to expand 70 to 6 lanes. 🎉
this screws the wages in st louis and chicago, and cost of living in missouri would have to raise wages to keep high end employees. never going to happen !
