Okay Klaus has the best character arc. He started out as this narcissistic psycho that only cared about his own pleasure and revenge, and he did embody "I am Klaus Mikaelson, I don't need anyone, nor will I be warned by lesser men. I am the thing that lesser men fear." And then he ended as this amazing father, who was loyal to his family as no one else was, he loved like there was nothing else to do, and he embodied "Always and Forever" perfectly. That doesn't mean that I'm happy that his arc ended with death, but his relationships were better, and I hate to see that Hope has no guidance, but he was a better man by the end.
Klaus reminds me of my Dad who died when I was only thirteen years old my brother was only 11 and my Mom was the one who comforted me at that moment even when she wasn't really happy about him being dead
