York and Lake District vlog | Our first trip with baby!

Travelling with a baby AND a dog is a lot!!! So I didn't manage to vlog throughout but I filmed as much as I could on our first family holiday to York and the Lake District so apologies for that :)
We drove from North Kent to York with a car packed to the brim arriving about 6pm so headed straight to dinner at one of York's most haunted pubs, The Punch Bowl - www.nicholsons...
The next day we explored the town stopping at the must-visit 'Shambles', a street once filled with butchers where they would hang up the meet on hooks lining the street which can still be seen today. We also tried a Yorkshire pudding burrito at The York Roast which I thought was a little dry, before heading to the Lake District.
We were staying on the West of the LD, a 4 hour drive from York, but it meant we were very close to the 'ol' Ratty', a narrow gauge steam train and supposedly one of England's most beautiful train journeys which we took the next morning. We also visited Drigg Beach and of course Lake Windermere during our time here before heading home.
