you`re best in this game ;), could you make next video in same way but bit harder ;) ? also you can add some common indicators one for momentum and one for strength would be nice or some MA,EMA. Iam using combination TDI indicator with your stochastich settings ofc with some EMA and MA strategies ;). I attended your seminar about R..... strategy. thx a lot for that. keep posting video like your comments ;) and style

I have a question that's a bit off topic but think it would be good to get your opinion on.
Do you think trading futures in the last 1-2 hours before close can be as profitable as trading around the open? So for example if one could not trade the open time or the first few hours due to working full time, would you say trading the futures after lunch is still a good run?

Trading futures only after lunch can definitely be profitable.

I love the quiz method. Makes it much more relevant to real world conditions. I can spot a pattern after it’s happened, but that doesn’t make any money does it. Seeing it like this is great. I got the first two. I chickened out on the wide range bar and decided not to trade, so to speak.

When a bullish/bear bar "slices" through a zone of support/resistance, my question is this. Is there a rule of thumb to constitute what it means to "slice"? For example, if the wide bar closes 75% away from s/r zone, we should expect continuation, correct? If 50%, is that a good indication the direction will continue? It's difficult to explain, but I understand that relying on percentages is not my intent but am using those to convey my question in the context of the overall view of things.
Been watching for some time now. I'm learning a lot, thank you...
"Slicing" is just momentum with which it breaks out of the S/R zone . There is no rule of thumb to determine if the move is going to continue or not . Two factors which can give more clarity is :
1. The candle should 'CLOSE' above the resistance zone . Wait for the close to determine your next plan.
2. Volume of the candle . If a big candle breaks out but on low volume , chances are it wont go far .

Love the quiz aspect and blocking the leading edge of the chart. It's way easier to see a pattern in hindsight versus trying to pick it out live and this helps.

It seems to be easy to do answer a lot of your questions it’s just been difficult for me to scan or just find stocks that resemble your example that I’ve been practicing
Many scanning programs have formulas to find Candlesticks. It does get more complicated when you add other variables at the same time.
TopDogTrading what do u think would be a great way to scan..gap downs or gap ups cuz when I scan for em for my criteria I’m NOT getting great results

Thanks for this review. This simplified things as I get weary with more than a couple of indicators on the chart. It also cleared up some issues I had with buying or selling tails.
