Throwing my opinion on the whole loop debate - i remember when this episode originally aired, as soon as it was done they played the first episode right after, there wasn’t even a commercial break either, the last second we see here with the credits then jumps straight to the pilot. coincidence? 50/50, but what I like about this theory is that unlike most shows, it makes watching reruns/rebinging the show have more meaning, like you’re not just rewatching it, you’re watching them go through the loop again and in its own crazy stupid way it’s almost like you’re watching a new episode, regardless on everyone’s opinions on what happens after he pushes that button I think we can all agree that this was a great show with a very wholesome ending
Can I just say I adore this finale? Imagine it..A world that's for you and the one person you'd love to spend eternity with. Having the ability to walk on water with the sun at your back. To see a snowflake suspended in motion that you wish upon it. To know that time belongs to the both of you, and not the reverse. Fuck, I'm jealous of these two. One can only wish to have such a beautiful bond in real life.
What really got me about this ending was how honest they kept it. For all it's time travel shenanigans, they ended up growing decades older instead. Poetry.

Consider the opposite possibility: They trust their relationship to be so strong, they have full confidence in going around the loop again. They know they'll end up together again!
When I first watched this as it came out and heard Chopin, I immediately was overwhelmed with bittersweet emotions. I bawled because it reminded me that they played this song at my Grandpa's funeral. He was a genius, a hell of a marine and wonderful man, though I didn't know him too long. He loved to play classical piano, especially Chopin. Rest easy, Grandpa. Wish i could have gotten to know you better ❤️🫡

Futurama to it's credit knew when to quit. Didn't end on cliffhangers, in fact each season finale made each attempt to be a good series finale when the creators knew the show was coming to an end.
How does freezing time let you walk on water? Leela literally blew a snowflake and it moved, meaning the water should have been capable of moving too. This was literally the best ending they had though.

I've never seen a perfect ending to a show before this. Its both bitter sweet the show didnt end here. I want more Futurama but... this was sorta their perfect ending.

The professor tells fry and leela that it will send them back to the instant before he had the idea for the time button meaning that he wont come up with it. And because the professor was showing the crew the button for the first time in meanwhile and with how fast the professor fixed it we can guess he built it only a few days before meanwhile. Also the Simpson crossover and podcast episode take place after the series finale. So if they ever brought the show back they probably wouldn't even address the time button and just do more random episodes.
Not necessarily, the Professor probably calculated ahead to ensure time doesn't stop again even if he doesn't remember what happened by leaving a note or something in the device itself. I mean he wouldn't just doom himself to another eternity doing nothing but moving at right angles over and over again right?

That is not the case, the frisbee is still frozen in time, it's because Fry interacted with it that it was able to move, but it was still frozen.
