- The last show we played before the lockdown was at the stunning Union Chapel as part of a wonderful SU2C event. Incredible venues like this, the staff who run and maintain them, and artists being able to play in them is vital to the creative + cultural future of our country. And right now the whole industry needs help. The government MUST support the industry and jobs and careers it creates and nurtures at this incredibly difficult time, so we back the #LetTheMusicPlay campaign fully - 'Tokyo' Live from Union Chapel for StandUp2Cancer. 11.02.20.

Can’t think of any other “current” bands that are more consistently on brand while continuing to develop their sound than White Lies. You just always know it’s going to be quality, emotive pop! Such brilliant songwriters and performers!

YES finally some new content!! I'm the bouncy one on the fourth row with the White Lies tshirt haha, I was the awkward one standing up alone sometimes, the crowd was so static unfortunately! Fantastic concert though!!

I love the Union Chapel - it's close to home and a place where my company get lots of restoration work... Then it's great for intimate gigs as the acoustics are good... I've liked white Lies for quite a long time now and in a way I'm happy they never blew up into becoming a major global act... Their indie essence has been preserved so all is good... This video did make chuckle as we have some old dudes on the front pew digging the vibes.
Remember seeing these guys in Hull , uk . Amazing show , just hope you revisit again someday 👍

Sound mixing was bad.
So fantastic band and so dead public...
That was a charity live event if I recall. So I guess most of the people didn't know all the band which were playing so it's kind of understandable in that regards.
