Sometimes the currency fluctuations dont get passed to you the end user cause producers can pocket the difference in currency change. The price of goods can only come down when a producer actively slashes their prices. Other producers will follow

They are just now begining to experience some inflation. For all the money they have printed they are supposed to be having the mother of all inflation but their currency is always in demand abroad unlike the naira. We need to find a way to make our currency in demand , instead of supporting other people's own. I know times are hard and reality makes it tough but there is Always a price to pay for convenience. Also can we talk about these issues as if we are talking to a 10year old, that way its easier to many to absorb.
