I would honestly say, if the side effects aren’t hindering you, to stay on a new antidepressant for six months before you decide whether or not it’s working for you. After that, if you don’t notice a difference at a medium-high dosage, then I would try a different medication.
Well once the worst that can happen, happens,sometimes it’s a relief in a sense, you end up thinking that if I got through that everything else is a piece of cake. You realize that the small stuff really is small and if you handled what you just handled then you can handle anything.

As a Criminologist, my first suspect would have been the brother. DID HIS DAD EVEN CALL HIM to ask for help? He called the police. Where was he calling from? What time did he call? He asked the cops to meet him there but did not go into the house. Why? Because he knew what was IN THAT HOUSE! How long had they been dead when police arrived? Who had access to enter the house besides family members? When the police arrived, they had to break the front door to get in. Did he have access? Or know how to get in? My kids always knew how to get into our houses while we were gone. That was ok in our case, but just saying: kids know how to get into the houses they live in or have lived in. Who would gain if all the other family members (heirs) died? The Farm? Money? Insurance? He would be my suspect # 1 even before the sister.
