    Awesome video. Would love to see more grimdark fantasy tutorials (AoS or Old World).

      I was just thinking today I need to do some more AoS. What do you want to see? I'd rather not do a very new release as all the poitiers will be doing something on that. Let me know!

      @@medheadful Personally always been a sucker for elves. But content wise I would say Seraphon or upcoming Bretonnian footknigts would be stellar 🤔. (Not gonna lie these inbetween models or "ogre" sized models are always welcome too! )

    Absolutely stunning work! I tried oils but did'nt bother with varnishing first... so i gave it all up :D
    But this will be on my list of things to do!

    What are you mixing the Winton oil with? I can't seem to get mine to the same consistency as yours.

    Really nice! Makes me think about using speedpaints for my 40k night lords. I dont find it easy to airbrush chaos marines beacause of those details. And also, the red ist just wow. Good job and thanks for a quite dif. video :)

      No problem! I've used speed paints over metallics for chaos marines and works well!

    Hy, can you Tell me which Pigment you used? All brown tones i find alter in Color really drastically into a red or yellow tone

    Really like your approach! I have the old range of AP Speed paints. Does varnishing mitigate the reactivation issue? Since I started to use oil shading and washing my mini's improved.

    I really like you method - you got great results! I am curious why you've used the gloss varnish? Was it to make the oil wash flow better or something else?

    • @medheadful
      @medheadful  9 месяцев назад

      Yes mate. Multiple reasons though.
      1. To help it flow.
      2. To protect the model during clean up.
      3. For the transfers.
      Hope that helps!
