Your lessons are great, and of of the rare ones that includes the visual of finger placement on the fretboard and the notes and strumming pattern as well. Not everyone understands put your pinky finger on the 5th fret 2nd string etc without the visual and tab in the video so the lessons in this format is brilliant!

After doing a few tutorial with GZ2H with David.. I have less desire to go back to any of the other guitar youtube teachers.. the thoroughness of these lessons are very much appreciated. The amount of visual queues is impressive: 1. Virtual fret board with fingering for each strum, 2. Tabs that progress with highlights, 3. The part of the song is labeled on the right side of the tabs visual, 4. Strumming pattern that progresses with highlights, 5. and ofc David also playing guitar. I did want to ask a question though, it seems when you get to the Bridge section you skip the last 1.5 notes with finger placement on the (Down Up), Example: 31:22. I would be curious if you could add some flavor to why this is done/acceptable.. It sounds good, but wasn't explained.

In the chord shape / finger diagram for the chorus, the placement for finger 2 and 3 should be the other way around... almost broke my wrist trying to play that B chord. 😂 Thanks so much for all your awesome tutorials, Dave! Hands down the most accurate and in detail lessons on youtube!

I just put a capo on the second fret for the intro, makes it super easy. You can take it out during the small break in the song so it doesn’t handicap you later
I auditioned on our school's singing and music club, then this song popped into my mind and this tutorial helped me a lot, still waiting to be enlisted but I am grateful to have learned this tutorial. Sometimes for example at 12:25 the tab shows that you don’t bar certain strings, like how it shows that only the B string of the 5th fret is being played while the picture on the left shows the first finger over the B and E string. Which one is correct, the tab or the picture to the left?
Very good tutorial. As you this solo IS one of my favorite. Unfortunately it will remain impossible for me, being unable to reach more than 3/4 frets at the same time with my left hand fingers, as needed at the all beginning.

@@jhomreniva5485 I just mastered stairway to heaven, I was like "I'm ready to take on a new challenge" and moved on to this one. that very first chord makes me want to cry. I can hold it but it's very uncomfortable and takes a long time to arrange my fingers.

When I was starting out it took A LONG time too. It's a tricky song, so be patient :)
