    He is worried about cheating. If u don't know u are getting pranked by a supergm in that circumstance u just think u are playing stock fish

      except he was playing too quickly to be a computer, and too irregularly to just be playing against a machine. it clearly wasn’t a robot but they were somehow significantly better than him. and it didn’t make sense.

      In the video posted in other places, Jan guesses that he might be playing against someone on the Norwegian national team. He puts that out there as a possibility, because he already played him before and got crushed. He knows he is playing a person, because even stockfish takes several seconds to get to the kind of depth that he was playing at and then you need time for the player to put in the move. Cheaters take consistent, regular amounts of time between moves.
