I feel so bad when these small vendors keep asking foreigners for more money . I saw this in mumbai and that foreigner said everyone are beggers here .
Harry you are such a kind and lovely person. You are the reason i will visit one of those countries this year. My ONLY wish is to have some extra cash to give to the locals. They seem to be so humble, i wanna hug them
Don't give them extra cash. It's my humble request as an Indian. Pay what you owe them and a bit more if the service is good. If one person gives them extra money (like in Harry's case 1000rs for a 50rs drink) they think all foreign tourists are walking ATM machines and once this becomes the norm, they expect it out of everyone and spoil the experience of many budget bagpackers who travel India on $10 a day (800-1000rs)
Water that they take is for worshiping at their home and one of the scientific reason for ganges to be considered holy is presence of excess oxygen also making basins the most fertile in the world.
Uttarakhand, North East, Himachal pradesh and now kashmir also.....should be on the top list if coming to India and want to experience nature. Best places and uttarakhand feels like heaven on earth if you go on trekking adventures like Kakabhusandi lake trek, tarkeshwar mahadev and many more❤❤❤❤❤.
I don't think common people can go to kakbhushandi lake etc because it's not easy and very harder than kedarnath or valley of flowers.... Because I belong to the village which is close to the lake
In uttarakhand the treks are amazing with spectacular views but very difficult to complete thats why majority of people avoid them and go to jk or hp because u have motorable routes to higher altitudes@@1o726eggsia

@@harryjaggardtravel Maybe you can feature some progressive projects that are actually dealing with the vast issues that India (and the globe generally) has. If you can mix that in with your amazing humour I am sure that would nail it for inspiration. Maybe attract some support for these things. the world desperately needs these things. Of course you have contributed in other ways too, already for sure.
I knew someone (unfortunately he died unexpectedly) who is set up a recycling scheme in Hampi with local villagers. They benefited by earning money collecting plastic waste which would then be transformed into low grade oil. It worked really well until he left. It needs strong willpower and financial reward for those who are needy. Apparently there were death threats by some people from the oil industry. The technology exists but nobody's been held accountable that are the bigger part of the problem to fund them like said companies who make excessive profits, including on the back of supposed "scarcity". Capitalism and materialism eh? It's also a cultural problem though. Indians (/Asians, Naples people) don't see the plastic anymore. The insanity is the norm. We all need to do our best. Places like Wari Chora, Mawsynram, Mawlynnong, Chherapunjee, Haflong, Kaziranga, Monabarie, Umrangso, Panimur, Chhabimura, Jampuii Hills, Dzukou Valley, Tawang, Ziro etc. are literally the least known places to the foreigners, they rarely even think of this Region. And even if some people come, they just go back from the gateway, Guwahati. So I expect you to explore more, and show a part of the country to the world they have never seen or thought of. Hi Harry, I hope you are well. I'm from Delhi, and I have seen these situations in other parts of Delhi as well. It's really disheartening to experience such conditions. However, there are many beautiful places here too. It's good to see that you went to Rishikesh and enjoyed your trip. I have a concern regarding places like Rishikesh and Haridwar, which are religious and holy. Many foreign guests might not be aware of the traditions and people's sentiments. Unintentionally (except for a few), they might create some unexpected scenes like wearing shorts (sometimes bikinis), smoking, and consuming alcohol. These behaviors should be avoided. Ironically, some Indians also practice the same. However, I have seen many vlogs and had personal talks with tourists in Rishikesh. I found that they have deep respect for these holy places because they studied about them before visiting. It gives a good feeling. I hope you will enjoy all your trips to India and our local cuisines 😊. Don't mind my words; they are not a complaint, just a concern. Wishing you happy and healthy travels. Regards, Praveen

Perhaps the most happy people I have ever seen were near to Darjeeling (back roads to Tiger Hill). Full of smiles. The people there weren't in abject poverty, yet nor were they at all well-off by western standards. Rich in spirit certainly, and rural helped.
Delhi is place for jobs ,companies hotels restaurants basically Delhi is a place of work not like hill station Rishikesh is hilly area for nature there is big difference but Delhi is beautiful too ❤
Come to Indore and Ahmedabad. You can see. It's a system where mountain grows but next to it garbage to energy and recycling factory are next to that mountain. So mountain reduce too
That's fantastic. Even better would be to force the oil companies and plastic producers who have made extortionate profits to fund biodegradable replacements for plastic. Unfortunately the only way to achieve these things is currently through Financial incentives but long-term it would be a major global shift and consciousness based upon the thoughts words and deeds we choose today.
This is the actual India. The heart of the India is filled with people from these section of society. Since they don't have a good life, their next generation falls into same category that leads to vicious circle. Govt can play a massive role in breaking that chain but indirectly they become that factor that keeps that vicious circle going. Free education and health is still a dream for many, corruption is rampant from bottom to top. India needs a massive change, i think it might take another 100 years sadly.
India is the only country where you can find everything... From crowded market to luxurious places.... That what makes India different from others... ❤❤❤
Jesus, this is hilarious. I must admit I thought your channel was a bit superficial at first but actually you are doing some supercool progressive and kind things and allayed a certain anxiety of mine while planning a second rather crazy mainly budget trip to India. Instead you have ignited excitement about the dynamic experiences I am going to have! Keep it up. Love the humour and cockiness.
I had a phenomenal time touring all the awesome and well-maintained tourist places in Delhi last April. The weather was perfect, the main roads are wide and lined with trees and there is so much history and culture spread accross the ancient city. If you choose to literally visit a landfill area, which I don't think Delhi is the only city to have lol and slums, that's what you would have an experience of. Poverty is undoubtedly an issue in developing countries but to anyone outside India watching, there are amazing luxurious hotels to stay in and beautiful lush destinations to visit across the capital city! That said, enjoyyy Rishikesh💜
The thing is that whole of rishikesh (the holy place) has taken over by some other community so you find some, i mean you already what i am taking about, the only probelm is that they are trying to change that place by building there worship places
Me: India is the world's second largest producer of smartphones and world's third largest producer of e-waste. Foreigner vloggers and Foreign Media: Show us the e-waste sites.
34:34 Those containers can be seen in every Hindu houses of India filled with holy Ganga water and it is being used to purify everything before performing sacred practices or rituals💧. Even it's not shocking that many houses have 5-6 years old Ganga water completely looks fresh ❤ .

U should visit sikkim.. Bhutan border is also there...kashmir ...orissa..himachal..karnataka
Harry you are such a kind and lovely person. You are the reason i will visit one of those countries this year. My ONLY wish is to have some extra cash to give to the locals. They seem to be so humble, i wanna hug them
wow that's really awesome! thank you mate
Best places and uttarakhand feels like heaven on earth if you go on trekking adventures like Kakabhusandi lake trek, tarkeshwar mahadev and many more❤❤❤❤❤.
thanks a lot for the support!
Uttarakhand, North East, Himachal, J&K, Sikkim, Kerala
These r the best states to visit in India..

B.t.w. going vegan for those who can is on average the best we can do for the planet, other sentient creatures and against pandemics - hence our future. Maybe Harry can do his bit by not supporting the unimaginable suffering. I am not referring to cases where there are no other options for the people, but the reality is no longer that in most cases. And India has more and more factory farms.

Eggs, milk and meat from these sick animals still end up in supermarkets in large numbers, without consumers being aware of this."

Tell me now, when will you visit the unexplored Northeast?
Places like Wari Chora, Mawsynram, Mawlynnong, Chherapunjee, Haflong, Kaziranga, Monabarie, Umrangso, Panimur, Chhabimura, Jampuii Hills, Dzukou Valley, Tawang, Ziro etc. are literally the least known places to the foreigners, they rarely even think of this Region. And even if some people come, they just go back from the gateway, Guwahati.
So I expect you to explore more, and show a part of the country to the world they have never seen or thought of.
Edit: And if you don't come and try to step out of India, then it's my curse to you that you'll break your both legs~😊
(Just kidding, no evil will)
Delhi has been over rated because its our Capital thats why but its NCR new Region is better like new areas and Gurugram side
Harry brother try visiting the upper and trans himalayan region. Rishikesh is awesome and lies in lower or rather foothill of legendry Himalayas, Try visiting Laddakh, atal Tunnel, Tso Moriri, Chandrataal, Pangong Tso, Zanskar Umlin la, and other high passes, then Himachal, Uttrakhand, Kashmir, jammu. If you travel North east then visit Arunachal, Sikkim, Mrghalayas etc,,Make sure you are medically fit.............Because you will be in Himalayas......................worlds highest...............so it will take your breath away...........literally...............because the elevation is so high........you enter another atmosphere where oxygen is low..........really low...........so take all precautions bro
thank you! will keep that in mind!

Hi Harry,
I hope you are well.
Regards,
Praveen

This is the actual India. The heart of the India is filled with people from these section of society. Since they don't have a good life, their next generation falls into same category that leads to vicious circle. Govt can play a massive role in breaking that chain but indirectly they become that factor that keeps that vicious circle going. Free education and health is still a dream for many, corruption is rampant from bottom to top. India needs a massive change, i think it might take another 100 years sadly.
