    Many festivals that look fun. The Japanese seem very celebratory and proud of their culture. I would love to attend the full moon festival, and anything with dancers.

      Yeah you nailed it about the Japanese. They are fiercely proud of their culture. I love to attend anything that involves dancing and food. 😂

      Cheers. Haha, I hardly have enough time to make a video a week. A podcast on top of that might break me. Yeah, Danjiri Matsuri is nuts. They actually have a smaller one in the next suburb over in October.

    What the! That rice field art is insane need to see that in person looks so cool. Liked the star wars mini theme in your video are you a massive fan? The peacock lantern looked super cool too as did the dragon festival in Kyoto... 🖖 Japan is just awesome need to go back ASAP

    • @linnyunt
      @linnyunt  6 лет назад

      Yeah, man. Tambo art is crazy. I love Star Wars. Just not the latest movie. 🤣I didn't use my Millennium Falcon lamp this time around. That was way too much hassle. The mini theme kind of just worked its way in.

    Hi Lin, how was the weather when you were in Kyoto during September? Is it hot and humid there?

    • @linnyunt
      @linnyunt  Месяц назад

      Yes, it's extremely hot and humid all summer. Kyoto is even hotter than Osaka because it's surrounded by mountains which trap the heat.

    Is September a good time to go to Japan? I’m going for 2 weeks and I’m worried about the typhoon season

    • @linnyunt
      @linnyunt  2 года назад

      Yes, typhoons are a possibility. You just never know. It might happen or might not even make landfall. I think spring or autumn is the best time to visit. September is still a bit humid.

    Question, I am in my thirties as well and finishing up a degree with the intention to teach there. Going to do a TEFL as well. What companies have you worked for so far and which would you recommend? Seems great that you managed to get a job in a city like Osaka. I have heard most companies want to send people to jobs out in the countryside for the most part.

    • @linnyunt
      @linnyunt  6 лет назад

      Hey Johnny, thanks for watching. Have you seen my video about getting a job in Japan? That covers the major companies. ruclips.net/video/LOEXWbST9w8/видео.html
      However, I wouldn't recommend Nova, Gaba or Peppy Kids Club. I used to work for Peppy and it was really stressful. I'm now and ALT with Interac and prefer that. I also made a video about eikaiwa vs ALT work. ruclips.net/video/SRvivyIzea0/видео.html
      Good luck!
