  • We depart Blackpool VFR en-route to Oban, Scotland in the PA28. Sadly en-route there was low cloud near Prestwick so we transitted their Class D Controlled Airspace IFR before joining Oban visually to land.

    Very nice Ben. Great to see another video. I'm working on my landings at the moment and always appreciate the details you provide re pre-landing checks and the cockpit view (speed and altimeter in the circuit). Btw nice landing it did look quite gusty! Thanks for sharing! Steven.

    Hello Ben. Thank you for this video and using the Piper again. Great flight with some changes enroute but that makes things interesting doesn't it? Enjoyed it. Keep flying safe.

    Another superb video Ben. Burning question, how do you embed the Skydemon into your videos? I've googled it but clearly can't get the search right to find out!

    This is my favourite of your many videos I think Ben, including the night return. Not sure why, maybe you can tell me, but I'd of loved to of seen the decent through the cloud into Oban, they always seem to be edited out.

    Very nice flight Ben. But beg to differ on the coast being boring, comment. tired of our coast could mean tired of life. it's a lovely coast, all the way.I know it from land, sea and air. More please.

    thank you, awesome video, as always! but why would the QNH change and the QFE remain the same at 09:31?

    • @PlaneOldBen
      @PlaneOldBen  6 лет назад +1

      Probably due to rounding up or down, the elevation at Blackpool only creates a 1mb difference in QNH / QFE usually.
