Ed Helms actually had his tooth removed fun fact. I believe it was a fake tooth recently put in him and the script called for him losing one, so they took it back out. Serious dedication
Apparently when he lost his baby tooth an adult tooth just never came into that spot so he had a fake tooth there already, they just him temporarily remove it for the film.
Seb, the thing you have to understand about Alan is that in his mind, he's still like 10 years old, and to him, the other guys are also 10, he views the world through this weird childlike looking glass. That's why he acts the way he does lol
1:15 - I went to Vegas with my Mom. Vegas is pretty family friendly, lots to see. Going to each hotel is like visiting a museum, each has it's own attractions, so all different.
The only costume I have worn in the last 20 years was when I dressed as Alan from the hangover w/“Carlos” the baby in tow. A lady thought I was actually a man and told me the baby needed socks…I drunkenly clapped it’s plastic feet together and when she heard my lady voice she was taken aback. Lol, best Halloween ever! I love all three movies because I love Alan and the rest of the gang, but you can’t beat the first one. Hangover II is basically the first movie set in Thailand and a different guy getting married. The third one is just weird and wild, but not nearly as good as the first two movies. I think you would enjoy them, but not as much as this one.
This was such a landmark film for its time. Won a Golden Globe for Best Comedy, rightfully so IMHO. The sequels only provide diminishing returns in comparison, although they're still good in their own right. Unlike something like Crank 2, for instance. Hard to believe Todd Phillips went from these pervasively crude entries to Joker. But hey, goes to show that some directors can change genres successfully.
I went to see this with a group of girlfriends and we laughed our asses off. It's crazy and stupid but we legit loved it. I had my dad watch it and he loved it but was surprised I liked it. I watched the sequel but I remember nothing about it...ping pong balls is all that comes to mind. Maybe.
I promise you….it’ll get better in the worst ways with each movie! I wish they did a Hang Over 4,5,6 and 7. But then at that point it would definitely need an intervention or something 😂
There's a mom at my kid's school that sounds and looks exactly like Melissa. Even if I hadn't seen this movie, I probably still wouldn't smile at her in passing. For whatever reason, she stares me down while we're waiting for our kids to get out of class. ANYWAY, love your reactions Seb. They always brighten up my day and your commentary is hilarious! ^^ Can't wait for you to see the 2nd one!
Saw this one when it first came out in theaters, & it was the best theatre experience I’ve ever had. Every single person was laughing the whole time. It was amazing.
This movie led to the three of them becoming proper stars, even though they'd been acting and seen for quite a while. Just a damn funny movie. (Seb should watch Todd Phillips' Starsky & Hutch film, especially after having just watched Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in Zoolander.)
They usually use twins when there is a baby in a movie because of labor laws so they may have used fraternal twins. A bellhop is a person and they had the tiger on a luggage cart.
@SebScreen To answer your question: Hangover 2 and 3 are both also worth watching! 😉 In fact 3 is my favorite, but I know that many people also like 2. So you can watch 2 and 3 without worrying, they're fun. 😁
Two things to answer your questions: yeah, watch the other two, they're not as good as the first one in my opinion, but still enjoyable, and second, Ed Helms "Stew" actually had a false tooth he could pull out and put back in, so the writers incorporated it into the movie. No trick photography or cgi there. Enjoyed the reaction! I've always considered the first Hangover one of the greatest comedies ever. It and Super Troopers and the Waterboy are probably my three favorites.
When I saw this movie in the theater back then, Stu's relationship was tooooo identifiable with my own and I broke up with my gf that day. We reconciled a couple days later but then for real broke up a few months after Fast forward to thirteen years later and I lowkey miss her lmao
Seb... Two things... #1 watch the show Transformers Prime... It'll make you love Transformers just sooo much more... And #2 watch ALL the hangover movies... Don't be like other RUclipsrs who just start part of a trilogy and never finish it... Which so far you haven't disappointed... Your my number #1 reaction channel I watch.
Fun fact: Ed Helms actually lost his tooth before shooting the movie and it never grew back so he wore a fake tooth and had it removed to give the effect. He also came up with the song about the tiger and Doug.
The wedding singer first showed up in "Old School" which had the same director as The Hangover. The guy going down on the woman in the elevator is the director. Also, check out "Old School" and thanks for the distraction.
The Hangover is up there with the classic comedies, Tommy Boy, Big Labowsky, Billy Madison, Animal House.....It is common thought that "action films" are guy movies, but this, like the others mentioned, are truly relatable (even if embellished) guy movies.......hopefully some gals have insane memories like this as well

It's a great comedy trilogy...don't listen to the boring folks who trash them. 3rd is just as good as this one. Watch em all. God I miss this era of comedy. Being a senior in HS when this came out it was fucking huge. Everyone was talking about it. Bring me back.
You should definitely watch the other 2 and then consider watching Horrible Bosses 1 and 2 We’re the Millers American Pie 2, Marriage and Reunion This is the End 40 Year Old Virgin Crazy, Stupid, Love
The ultimate tragedy of the western world would be Seb going to Vegas, getting fucked up, waking up the next morning not remembering anything only to find out years later that he went clubbing with and eventually married Chris Evans(which he had annulled). Talk about a tearjerker.
11:49 I’ve been out clubbing/bar hopping and had a flight at 8 or 9 am. I just went straight to the airport, ate breakfast and slept on the airplane. It was an international flight from America to Japan so I had a great 13 hour nap 👍🏻
Ed Helms sing actually soooo gooooddd ! He's pretty dope singer. And you asked how they have been able to do the thing with his missing tooth, it's because Ed Helms really missing a tooth here xD I took the fake tooth of for the movie haha check it out xD Sorry for my english, i'm french ;)

I moved to Vegas in 2018 and began working at a resort marina that had great fishing, huge catfish. When the water shortage began, people were finding bodies. No more fishing. LOL
Great reaction, LOVE the HANGOVER trilogy... also please continue to react to AMERICAN PIE franchise, some other awesome comedies ROAD TRIP, REPLI KATE, SORORITY BOYS, VAN WILDER, WHY HIM, LETS BE COPS, ROUGH NIGHT, GAME NIGHT...
17:23 “Why is it tiny?” Ken Jeong decided he wanted to be naked in this scene, so he ran it with his wife, just making sure it was ok for him to pitch this idea to the director. @@Herexton Hah GAAAAy!!
@@Herextonhah!Gayyyyyyyyyyy
previously licensed, when he made the movie he was, not anymore though
He was both a physician and a Spanish teacher
These are some of my favorite movies I didn't think they could get better after the first one honestly but they all really good
Second one is better😊
Third one is kinda boring
Well, this one isnt. 1 remains easily the best....or atleast everything better than 3
Opinion opinion opinion. I liked em all pretty equally I watched them all the same exact day back to back
@@ZaOnly420 same and 1 was best 2 close third was decent

I think Hangover 2 is a rare case where it’s a little better then the first, but Hangover 3 is good to but it’s very different. You should watch them

One of the funniest buddy comedy films I've ever seen! Critics enjoyed it very much and said its one of the best comedy films ever made.
