I don't think faster, but consuming less energy at reasonable speeds, which will cause you to run for longer periods, overall an improvement in traveling efficiency

Because when i got them, the the place where the top of the fiberglass sping is bolted is showing because of the chipped plastic. Is that black plastic surrounding the fb, supporting the fiber glass? if so, should i return it and get a new one, or does it not matter?

I have purchased a pair of them but as my height and weight is like a teen (50 kilos) the jumping stilts are too heavy for me as I have the minimum weight for it (from 50 to 70 kilos) so I had to give it to my brother. I have thought of getting the teen version, for lighter weight (from 40 to 60) but I ended up purchasing the kangoo jumps instead because I wasn't sure if I would be able to use the jumping stilts, which were on the beginning my dream since I was a kid XD But after watching this video, I believe that after some time using the kangoo jumps, I will definitely purchase the jumping stilts :)

GalacticWolf 290 standard is where it's not as complicated and easier to use for new stilt users. advanced is if you've been practicing for a while and can manage greatly on standard. (I know u r comment is 11 months old x3)

They are heavy, spring loaded so there's delay in them. This makes strides slower meaning that you don't end up going very fast with them.
