I’m so late but so impressed by this… I just found you guys literally tonight by algorithm on the Trump interview and immediately clicked on this after. I’m so impressed by the phenomenal job you guys did in both podcast allowing your guests to actually speak and doing just enough questioning and directing to broaden topics but allowing for so much actual speech by the people who have come on your show. Seriously, bravo! This is clearly exactly what people are looking for and I will be subscribing and bingeing more podcasts from you guys! So many people (even Rogan sometimes and people really think of him as the best) co-opt the conversation to steer it toward certain topics that they think will do better and I was just so blown away by how much you guys stepped back and let the conversation flow naturally. This is a great example of how to host a podcast with a guest. They let Ben talk for the vast majority of the podcast and when they did ask questions they were productive questions that helped carry on the discussion.
Ben was talking for the majority of the time because Kyle and steiny have 5 brain cells compared to him. If Brad was in this episode it would've been better. Brad and Ben would've had a good back and forth.

But that's not the worst of it. Ben wants abortion banned from conception. He wants rape to carry the death penalty. He wants TikTok banned. He's opposed to euthanasia (which amounts to torturing mostly old people in excruciating pain), because "society has a stake in upholding life". And today we've learned he's open to stopping the internet from happening, and is opposed to enhancing people's IQ (he wants to always be the smartest guy in the room, I guess).
And what's his excuse for the internet? Marriage rates declining and people not having as many real friends. Really, that was his reasoning for potentially doing away with the internet. Even though marriage rates have been declining since the 1960s.
Underneath all the glitter and the smarts, Ben is just a really backwards guy. He uses his energy to advance his own, subjective view of the ideal society, which is that old, agrarian, communitarian community of continuously-married, religious folks being really into traditional stuff. A society that "gives you roles", i.e. makes you a cog in its wonderful, pastoral order. Basically, he wants his own Orthodox Jewish community to serve as a social model for the rest of us. Rest of us, degenerate, "atomized individuals".

I have to say, I’m very impressed with how the Nelk Boys handled this interview. I was worried when I saw the title that they would waste Ben’s time and not take it seriously. They came prepared with thoughtful and engaging questions. Great work guys
One thing I have noticed about Nelk is they listen to the feedback and change if they get backlash. This is a good example.

This is the best interview of Ben Shapiro by miles. It’s one of the best interviews I have ever seen, period. They know how to listen. So few interviewers get this. Don’t know these lads but I can’t wait too see their other stuff.

Even the simplest questions are sometimes out of reach from someone not involved in politics. I’m a registered democrat, I don’t usually agree with what Ben Shapiro has to say but I like him more than someone like Candace Owens. He’s at least respectable, knowledgeable, and honestly just knows what he’s talking about. Theres areas I don’t agree with him about but there’s also things I agree with him about too. Great interview from him, really made me learn a lot about who he is, how he came up, and how we can be unbiased while also giving his honest opinion. Not going to be a regular viewer of his show after this but this interview really made me respect him a lot more.

I totally agree with Ben's take on marriage: if you can't decide in year one to get married, then there is no point to date. My wife and I were married 7 months after we met online. We were from different countries (Canada and the US) and spent most of our time talking about life and what we wanted. I had almost no money and nearly went bankrupt after meeting my wife (not because of her but my own stupidity). We had a very simple morning wedding in a church and fed people cake, sandwiches, and soup at the cafeteria of my wife's school in winter time for lunch as our reception. You don't need anything big or fancy. You don't need to have everything figured out in life. What you need is common values and the desire to get married. Now we have 2 kids, only debt we have is our mortgage (we got out of all debt before buying our first house 6 years into marriage), and I work while my wife stays at home with the children. And we plan to have more children. I love my wife and kids. Marriage is a wonderful thing and duty does make it better and make you better.

Wow this was amazing. Ben inspired me to grind in the gym of literature and knowledge. He knows so much info and is able to discuss it so eloquently with others. Truly a blessing. I love the way he talked about his advice for the lost young generation with no meaning. He kinda pointed out his pillars to a joyful life so beautifully. At the end I could tell the Nelk Boys were just in shock and awe to stand before Ben and his everlasting river of wisdom. They didn’t even want to try to say anything going on in their minds, and instead just let him speak. Good stuff. Gonna go read a book now

Going into 2021, I was cornered into an unwanted sabbatical. I was 22 at the time. I had disconnected from the internet, my friends, family, and people. I used to be an atheist, liberal thinker, and over that sabbatical I realized that my life was a lie and there were a lot of things that the internet was misguiding me on. I lived as a nomad and met with so many different people across Texas. I learned and unlearned many different things during that time, and what I can say for certain, is that this entire conversation that Ben Shapiro is speaking on, is truly spot on.
