This is by far the craziest event ever put on in skateboarding history from the tricks the atmosphere the speed and the vibes plus that older gentleman hill bombing on foot was something special like getting out of a ten gallon aquarium and being released into the ocean

32mph on a skateboard is insane
Working my way up to it. 25 feels good. I want to hit 30 just to feel it. I wrecked once as a teenager getting pulled by a truck. The driver said we were going 30 when I let go. Speed wobbles then wheel bite. Luckily my head didn’t hit. I remember being upside down in the air looking behind me before i hit the asphalt. Ripped the coller off my coat and my shirt. I had some good road rash on my hip.
I realize that only streetskating and pool riding will be considered "skateboarding" on this youtube Channel, but I try to enjoy every skate discipline. Giant slalom and downhill longboarding are great fun too.
It's not a problem to ride at 50mph with special trucks and wheels. World record is at 91mph.
But yeah, I find that anything above 25mph on my 149 indys is really sketchy, especially with the kind of pavement and dirt in that ditch.

I competed in a "Death Race" once in New Hampshire. It was basically a timed run through a skatepark with cones. After seeing this I think they need a new name for whatever I competed in because this is much more deserving of the title
