Interesting comparisons, first guitar with the cutout sounds more like a classical, second sounded like a traditional flamenco guitar and the third one sounded like a modern flamenco guitar. I personally liked the second one but the third is a very good instrument.
Cordoba sounded brighter...more trebles and cleaner/ Lopes had more bass and trembles where clear but not as clear as Cordoba / Sanchis was the best IMHO, it was louder and more percussive, bass and trebles where well balanced and had very good sustain....the notes seemed like they could ring forever...very nice
Hello Ramzi, I now have my own Angel Lopez flamenco guitar, CF1246SF by Stagg-thanks to you and your video. I will never sound as good as you, but the guitar is very nice-and I have known many guitars in my lifetime-just no flamenco guitars until now. For me as a beginner to flamenco, I think it was a great deal I got on Amazon-when the price dropped, I jumped! Very glad I did, as it is really fun to play, and a very good deal for the money. It has a unique sound that I really like, and you demonstrated it so well, thank you! Thank you for introducing the guitar to me in your video. and I look forward to other videos with it and your playing-even if it is not on the Lopez-your talent shines through it all! Take care, Barry
Barry - I recently had the Lopez setup by a professional luthier who specializes in flamenco guitars, and he was able to make it MUCH easier to play and consequently the sound I think is improved. Check out my recent video with Doctor Compas and you'll see it in action after the new setup. Perhaps consider taking it to a local or nearby flamenco guitar luthier for them to set it up for you. Cheers! :)
Ramzi, yes, thank you for your suggestion and great new video-but I am still too new to hearing the best Flamenco tone, and my Lopez still sounds wonderful to my untrained Flamenco ears-no doubt I will hear more if I live long enough! But your playing still amazes me with new possibilities in guitar music make me want to live longer and see what I may achieve in result. I know that you already are well known, but I hope your talents are more widely known and appreciated-it is wonderful, and exactly what the world needs now to bring it together. Many Blessings to you and your efforts to make this so. Be well, Barry
bluespiderweb im looking to buy a flamenco guitar also sir and im here because i saw this guitar on amazon and wanted to see is review on youtube first ... but you said you got your guitar when the price drop? Doest it? How much you paid for yours if i may ?
Just bought a cordoba lately myself and its such a joy to play, overall it stands out the most here but i think it depends on what your earsight enjoys .. just my opinion. Nice ninja finger skills btw.
Hermanos Sanchis Lopez, no doubt about it, she has a sound profile that is tuned soulfully, and allows for more subtle variations, in the hands of an advance player she sings, with much more character and depth,, it's really a more advanced instrument. The instrument fades away and you only hear the music. Every register is present, blends well, the sound is very coherent, flamenco yet warm. Lovely guitar.
I think that bieng such a good player you make all three sound good, however the Hermanos Sanchis sounds richer and much more Flamenco to me, it has a very definite personality, it¡s response is immediate and that little bit of magic that a good flamenca blanca needs. I enjoy and learn lots from your videos, thanks for sharing them and please keep up the good work.
Like that Buleria falseta of Tomatito. Very well done. Am having the Sanchis Lopez 1F Negra. By far the best guitar in this price range. You would be hard pressed to find a better guitar. Perhaps the Navarro comes very close.
All three sounded good. Hard to really tell with laptop speakers. I liked the sound a little better with the second and third guitars. The first sounded more like a good classical guitar, #2 and 3 sounded "brighter"
would you recommend the studio pro negra? I've been playing guitar for many years but want to embark in learning flamenco. My budget is less than 1000. Many have recommended the yamaha gc171sf instead of the GC studio pro. what do you think?
i have a gk negra studio too but idk if wood or sth makes some change in same model but this one in vid really upset me...and also third one is the sound what i want...so anyone like to buy a left handed negra Gk studio its on sale now :D
the first : Bright and tight, with sound very contained but very Flamenca sounding > The second : overall indistinct and average [ but good ] sounding Flamenco with hints of special moments . the third : deep bass with even trebles and mid-range and intonation that to my ears was the dead on best ! if i was to pick my fav it would be the first and third but would like to hear the first as a Blanca or even Cypress sides and back rather than Negra [ i find, as with this one, the trebles on a Negra are bright but seem to leave the mid and lower out of the picture ] none of my critique is an attack on any of these guitars just my personal taste or preference
Hello, I've been thinking to buy the Angel Lopez guitar but I feel doubt about the quality, would you tell me in your experience how do you feel it? Thanks in advanced
The Sanchis somehow does not sound like Sanchis, I know the 1F Extra cypress Maybe it's the strings or it's not patched. For me, only 2 in question are Felipe Conde and Sanchis. You have to spend more on the Conde. And then there is the choice of Sanchis. For the money a lot of guitar and good sound. Of course, there are still many good guitars, if you want to spend a lot of money and can
Hey bRo thx 4 the lessons on < how to learn to play flamenco > ...a really good perf ^-6 much much more than a simple gears' demo / a lot of elegance really characteristic of flamenco players IMO where do you learn to play like this ?
Espero haberle ayudado.
No.1. Unquestionably. Great player Ramzi. It`s an ambition to learn some Flamenco. I just put a deposit on an Admira F4 Flamenco guitar. How do you rate them Ramzi? THX. Michael.
Timestamps to help you are in the description. Here they are to make things a bit easier: 4:10 - Angel Lopez (by Stagg) 8:12 - Hermanos Sanchis Lopez Thanks for watching!
+Mustaffa Haithem i have bought one. the model 3f.. i can say that they are very nice.. no complain about them.. also made in spain.. i thought about buying an expensive one.. but i really dont think that it is still nessessary.. the alhambra is great for the price.. i put golden mechanics on it.. this was a nice upgrade.. great sound!
You shouldn't be comparing the Cordoba to the the others. The Cordoba is a negra guitar (rosewood sides) so it is between a classical and flamenco in sound. The others are true flamenco....sides and back are all cypress hence treblier sound. If you want to be fair you should be comparing a regular Cordoba Studio not a Studio Negra
LOL they're all flamenco guitars, man. Of course a negra is different than a blanca, but isn't that the point of comparing so that people can potentially hear the differences before they consider what to buy?
I think the problem with the Cordoba is that the Chinese Cordobas do not stack up to the competition in their price bracket. Don't get me wrong, this has nothing to do with quality of Chinese made. It is that the Cordobas are priced above their quality level. Overhyped and over-priced. Maybe their Luthier Series may be better, but as for their Chinese range, you can do much better for the money.
The audio is raw & has not been edited in any way...
0:13 - Cordoba GK Studio Negra
4:14 - Angel Lopez (by Stagg)
8:15 - Hermanos Sanchis Lopez
Hermanos Sanchis Lopez has the best sound in my humble opinion
I just loved it
I agree
Cool
Yep. More bite, more tonal.
Interesting comparisons, first guitar with the cutout sounds more like a classical, second sounded like a traditional flamenco guitar and the third one sounded like a modern flamenco guitar. I personally liked the second one but the third is a very good instrument.

great playing , really hypnotic and im learning so helpful aswell i learn through seeing more than notes

Mr. Ramiz El Rumbero, thanks for the great performances. Please, what is your favorite guitar out of the three? I like the last one. Number 3
Me too :)
@@rombsix Well, yes, and thanks for your performance - That 3rd guitar is the best for me, but I can't afford one... :)
@William Draper Hi, Can you please send me a link? Thank you.
Sanchis Lopez = sweetness + warmth 👍 Thanks for comparison
Sure thing!
The Lopez is a beauty... sounds great. but you have to hear them in front of you.
This model:
Stagg CF1246S?
Yup!
I love the sound Hemanos Sanchis Lopez 1F bass is fantastic and powerful
and a very good guitarist as well bravo
Thanks 🙏👍
I,d like to see the price of these 3 guitars.
First one is about $700, second one is about $400, and third one is about $2,000 (used).
The third one by far. The first one sounds classical.
🙂👍
On the Cordoba did you use the truss rod to set your action or did you file the saddle? Love your playing!
Saddle
Such a great talent sir .... loved watching you playing ... great review!!!!
Thanks!
Que tecnica, macho! Que importa la guitarra cuando la tecnica lo es todo..Algun curso que recomiendes para tocar asi??
Thanks! I learned through the Oscar Herrero series. ;)

I like the Cordoba's, frankly. Their dimensions work much better for my left hand.
The second has a most defined sound, courageous and crisp. Is this what flamenco required?
For the most part :)
i have a gk negra studio too but idk if wood or sth makes some change in same model but this one in vid really upset me...and also third one is the sound what i want...so anyone like to buy a left handed negra Gk studio its on sale now :D

Honestly, I really enjoyed the guitar. :) But maybe I got lucky with mine? :P
I think guitar 1 sounded the sharpest with most unique sound.. just my opinion though..

3:14 to 3:23 what was that technique and could you do a tutorial on some flamenco techniques besides the basic ones
You mean the tapping on the wood?
@@rombsix no the melody that starts on 3:16 and finishes at 3:21

The third one was outstanding
Oleeeee
Cool :)

I didn't, actually... Sorry!

Third guitar sounded the best all rounder. What's the piece you play?
Just some solea and buleria...
Can you please write the names of the songs that you played.... I've been looking for them for long ago and im desperate to know their names

The number 3!!!!
