If after 2020 we were to get solo films for both Rodan and Mothra, i hope that for the main enemy of Mothra's film we get battra & for Rodan we get Megaguirus; since in the original Rodan film from 1956, Rodan prayed upon the meganulon.
honestly Rodan vs Megagurius would be a really entertaining fight but i feel Rodan will lose unless it is Fire Rodan or they give him more abilities than just flying
And don't forget he survived being exposed to extremely high levels of radiation levels that would kill most forms of life I mean he not only survived the explosion of the H-Bomb test that was the Castle Bravo test as a normal dinosaur I mean if you can call a dinosaur that stood nearly 200 feet tall normal and was heavily mutated by it into an indestructible nearly 400 foot tall giant that can breath a ray of pure nuclear hell fire that can destroy anything and everything it hits unless it's coated in those synthetic diamonds like the ones used in the fire mirror of Super X 2 and MechaGodzilla so swimming in volcanic lava would be like taking a soak in a hot spring for the King of the Monsters and he didn't get that title by being a weakling.

This was the first time I heard Godzilla’s theme by Akira Ifukube. Godzilla vs Mothra (1992) was also the first Toho Godzilla movie I ever saw.
