I’m from NYC and I remember Woolworth and Woolworth wasn’t like the one in SA lol. This Woolworth is like WholeFoods. When I go to SA I always go to Woolworth but I go to PickNPay or Checkers. It’s like the local supermarket and to be more cheap lol, I go to Shoprite. And you can get some decent foods there. SA has the best supermarkets and restaurants on the continent. Been there 5 times and will be back in December of 2021. I almost know Joburg as much as I know Brooklyn New York. Keep up the good work !!
Woolworth’s cafe is my favorite brunch spot in SA. Checkers was my go-to grocery store. The Melrose shopping district in Jo’Burg was also my go-to place…absolutely loved it! Thanks for tuning in and sharing your experience! 🙂
This is just a really good video of this Melrose area. Where did you you get the spare ribs in this video. You can laugh if you'd like to...I just finished a successful seven day fast so no meat until maybe late next week. I am eyeing the ribs. Thank you so much. P.S. I hope that you are enjoying Panama City... can't wait for another video.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow that’s great...a 7 day fast? I’m too greedy. The most I’ve been able to do is a 12 hour fast then I’m barely functioning...smh 🤦🏽♀️. A lot of places sold the spare ribs but if I remember correctly it was at one of the Marriott hotel restaurants 🤔. But the ribs in SA were consistent wherever you get them...in my opinion 😋.
@@TheRepatLife Thank you so much. I fast once or twice a year. They stopped working for me in the States in 2012. This fast was successful in SA. I discovered that the soy lecithin(GMO) in my green tea in the States was inhibiting my weight loss. I will just do two to three day fast going forward to get back at a comfortable weight for me. LOL, I am eyeing those ribs. Thank you again.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Question: how are things, on the ground, for COVID? *The news hypes the lockdown and second strand going through **S.Africa** and I'd much rather hear from someone on the ground.*
Hi! I received notification this week that due to the decline in Covid infections that SA has been placed on Alert Level 1. I haven’t heard much else but people and businesses are still being proactive in wearing masks, sanitizing, and social distancing.
