I like to apologise sincerely, but the good thing is- is to never expect forgiveness. Give the person some time to calm down or recover from what you did to hurt them. It's great to say what you're sorry for every time, no matter how big or small and let that person know you won't do it again. (or will be more careful next time) if it was an accident :)
Thank CAKE for all your videos. (The next time you want to say "I'm sorry.", use one of these phrases instead. You can make your English more nuanced and advanced. - My bad./ Sorry. - My apologies./ Please accept my apologies. - It's my fault. - That was wrong of me. )
@🐶Abbey gacha🐶 wtf, how tf is that rude? Lmao. All they were doing was correcting them as if they’re HELPING them. I’m assuming you’re trying to say “helping is being rude”.
I apologize, to get into this conversation. But I guess it can be annoying, but it’s not really that rude. Because Im pretty sure it’s only if it’s correcting something to be offensive or actual very rude things. Also they’re just helping, like the other person said.
Love you Spencer! You don't know how much many non-english speakers learn from your channel. You have enhanced my English as well. Your channel is very educational/learning. Thank you so much! ❤🤍
This channel is for non-English speakers? O_O I’m American and my native language is English but I’ve been using this channel to communicate better… oops lol
Thank you SPENCER so much for teaching how to say sorry in 3 different ways because when I did something bad I always say I am sorry or I am so so so sorry I really appreciate your 3 different ways of saying sorry and last but not least I learned a lot thank you👍👍👍

My friends say that I say “sorry” too much and I think they might be right. Yesterday I was at the mall and I got out of the bathroom and some ladies just so happened to be looking in my direction so I said “sorry”... 😅
I don't know if that helps but you can also use " i didn't mean to " as well ad these phrases You can let the person know that you didn't wanna make them upset when they are so angry at you
The fact that if you have English speaking friends you can literally start saying sorry in your language many times and at full speed while looking worried. They are gonna get it and stuff. I'm talking for the people that are gonna forget this video and not remember anything.
Pretty admired of your awesome 👍 teaching methods, is a flawless ingredients to the learners. Practice scenario: I have been noticed that personal use perfume liquid is getting less, hence I questioned up to my younger sister. Infact, she replied to me: "My bad, sorry...will purchase a new bottle to you."
I don't know why RUclips recommended this Channel to me but the video was good. I usually say "my bad" with friends but I say "I apologize" or "my mistake" with professors in emails.
If it's not anything too severe, like the examples shown here, I feel as if it's a bit pretentious to be offended, upset, or unsatisfied with a simple "sorry". If they sound sincere and genuine, as if they truly care, who cares about their wording? If they clearly ARE sorry, than they're sorry. Who cares what words they use to express it, as long as it's an apology. Edit: Not that these are bad teachings in any way, or that they aren't acceptable apologies.
Hi Ms. Spencer. My name is Cherry, i’m 9 years old. I’m is a RUclipsr too and i watch this video because I need too learn more English and Ms. Spencer is very beautiful and say English is good and enough for me to listen and understand it
Hello Spencer, you teach really very well.l am a student and learning spoken English is must for me ,l have been studying it for 14 years but yet l even can't give my introduction properly.l know vocabs but confused to use them and l don't have environment of speaking English.
I'm American, and yes, these are all true ways of saying "I'm sorry" in English, but it's fine to just say your sorry. One way is to say "I am so so so sorry! Really sorry", we really don't usually use all these different phrases most of the time
The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

Very useful! "My bad" is very informal and used by young people, so English learners should be aware of that.

Something you can also say [I say this quite often.] that is similar to the second one is, “My sincerest apologies.”! :D.
Next you should make one that basically says ‘I don’t really care’ when you’ve done something wrong. I would use it a lot of the time.
