Great video, I LOL! I loved Dakotas face when you said "Charity improved with age", so cute. Might I add that your kids are so adorable, really sweet, and I love the connection you all have. You can't buy THAT at any store (even Buccees😄)!! Amazing parenting right there! So glad I found your channel so long ago, it's been fun watching them grow up into awesome young adults.
Loved Savannah! Thanks! Sometimes a closed door opens up a new unexpected surprise!🎉 The talking dog💬 is amazing! 🐾 Buckee's looks like a lot of fun & those brisket sandwiches! 😋
Sometimes the "worst trip ever" will be the one you laugh about later and say "Remember that trip?" Looks like you made the best of everything. Thank you for another wonderful video. I hope to visit Savannah sometime.
You guys are a wonderful family, love following all of your adventures! We've RV'd to Savannah several times, a beautiful, historic old city. As you noted, depending on the time of year you are there, it can be very crowded.
I didn't find it the "Worst Camping Trip Ever!" It was....different! But it all turned out nicely in the end! Thanks for taking us with you! Have fun and stay safe!
Protip, put an Apple AirTag in your Jeep. Hopefully you never need it for your car being stolen, but I use it to find my keys, car, wallet, dog, RV (yup, I've got one in the RV too!), and laptop bag.
I love Buc-ees. We live near Daytona and have been there several times. We love the brisket. The first time I walked in there, I was amazed that the store was so big and that they have grocery carts. I was also impressed with the size of their restrooms. It seems like no matter what time of the day we are there, Buc-ees is always busy.
Savanah also has a great night-time ghost tour....takes you right through that cemetery! And the guide warned us to not step in any puddles of water....due to the horses...
When I read your title, I thought your Jeep got stolen or died. Glad it did not. But my towed vehicle is an Xterra, and at the stop before Savannah mine had a mishap and the engine was destroyed as a result of a towing mistake. Talk about rough times. I was able to get it down to Daytona were I was booked for a few weeks (suggestion, try Sunshine Holiday Daytona campground, an Encore resort) , and was able to find a replacement engine and a trustworthy shop. But it was definitely rough times.
We have been to that Bucee's many times and as it has become more popular, it has become an absolute ZOO. I am surprised you were able to find a parking space. Many people will park at the gas pumps, go inside to shop and then return to their vehicles and sometimes not even buy gas; and of course this adds to the congestion. They need some sort of pump monitor personnel stationed outside to discourage this kind of behavior. We go there because of the low gas price (they are located near a Sam's Club and compete on price) but with the congestion, it really does not seem to be worth the hassle.
The first Buc-ees we went to didn't have RV parking. We wound up getting gas and leaving the RV in the gas lane. The sandwiches are good but very expensive.
We live in GA. We camped at Skidaway last year. Bonus they even have full hookups. I really like how large and private many of the sites are. Love Savannah! Glad you went in the spring as the summers are hotter than 3 layers of hell!
This was so fun to watch! I’ve been to Savannah before, but it was a very long time ago. It looks like a fun city to explore. The story about Ben and his mom’s ashes… yikes 😳 😬 😂.
We have never been to Savannah GA. Looks like a great town as long as you remember where you park your car…..lol. That was funny! We can’t wait to visit our first Buccee’s in April.
LOVE Savannah! Went there several times but the first was a Girl Scout trip with my daughter when she was little. Highly recommend Pirates House for food, if you go again. It was my favorite place to eat when we were there. Great video…making me want to visit Savannah!
So when I read the title I thought "worst nightmare" that you lost the jeep while towing. Your actual version was much funnier than that. 😀We visited Savannah last May and LOVED it. We parked at the edge of town at on of the lots of the hop on/off bus tours which was a great way to see the town. That said, we totally missed JW Marriott. Very cool! When can we expect to see the RVer buying tips on actual real rain gear? 😄
Omg Buck-ees!!!! Haha we just discovered them going across the country to Florida on our way to Disney World. How funny. We stopped at about 3 of them. They have the best sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches there. We went a lot of money each time. One thing I didn't like, was people get gas and then just leave their car there. We got blocked in cause we were waiting for someone to finish in front of us, then the guy finished, and left his car there. What an ass. He knew we were waiting in our huge 40 ft Rv to get gas, and looked at us as he walked away. We had to wait till he came back and move. His wife was yelling at him because he.left his car and we were still there.
We camped at Skidaway Island SP 2 nights and left on St. Patrick's Day, maybe we saw your RV and didn't even realize it. We went to the city and parked our 26ft Class C at the visitor center RV parking and took a Trolley Tour which was great but looking at your video I think your photo opportunities walking are better. Savannah was so crowded with traffic and people then we've seen on other visits. It's a beautiful SP but the layout of the campground is confusing even with their map. Thanks again for another great video!
Just missed you at Skidaway Island State Park, we left on that raining day. You missed the St. Patty's parade, 2nd largest in the country. We need to go back, so many things we did not get to see. Fun! Thanks for the video.
We also visited Savannah but took the trolley tour. You should have asked us for tips. Fun fact the white fountain in Forsyth park was assembled incorrectly. We were about 3 weeks ahead of you and a lot colder.

My husband and I visited Mrs. Wilkes in 2010. We had quite the experience while we were there. The line waits outside, but then they bring about a half a dozen people at a time inside when your table is going to be ready within a few minutes. While we were waiting inside, I noticed that an elderly man to my left started choking. I immediately pointed it out to my husband, who knows CPR better than I do, and he sprung into action. When the Heimlich didn’t work, he laid the man on the ground and began CPR, while I went outside to let everyone know that there was going to be a delay and that I would bring more information as soon as possible. Everyone stopped serving and eating to see what happened. Little prayer circles popped up all around the dining room and kitchen. The ambulance arrived quickly and took over for my husband, but the man, Mike, didn’t regain consciousness before the ambulance took him away. We were very concerned because the ambulance didn’t speed away with lights and sirens as we expected. It just rolled away slowly and did the speed limit with no fanfare. We have always wondered how the rest of the day went for Mike, but I’m sad to say that we weren’t too optimistic.
“If” you have an iPhone and it is connected by Bluetooth to your Jeep, the iPhone will automatically put a pin on Apple Maps call “Parked Car” where your iPhone was last connected to your Bluetooth in your Jeep. Just FYI.

We were very concerned because the ambulance didn’t speed away with lights and sirens as we expected. It just rolled away slowly and did the speed limit with no fanfare. We have always wondered how the rest of the day went for Mike, but I’m sad to say that we weren’t too optimistic.
Oh man, that’s quite the experience!
How do you drop a pin?????? I need to know!!!! Pleeeese!
So you just go to your maps (Apple or Google maps). Tap on the screen and it will give you the option to pin or save parking :)
Being a weatherman is the only job I know that you’re gonna be wrong 90% of the time and still receive 100% of your salary.

“If” you have an iPhone and it is connected by Bluetooth to your Jeep, the iPhone will automatically put a pin on Apple Maps call “Parked Car” where your iPhone was last connected to your Bluetooth in your Jeep. Just FYI.
Thank you! Connecting bluetooth tomorrow :) That will help to avoid it happening again by forgetting 😂
You need to wear your seat belt!! Nice video, though.
What the hell happened?! 😟
We must be running the same trails. Stopped at that Bucee's a month ago. Savannah is one of our favorite destinations. Ate at Wilkes once about 10 years ago, that was awesome. So, did mom's ashes keep the ants at bay?
We didn’t have any ant problems afterwards, so it must have 😳🐜
@@GratefulGlamper Awesome, my dad is 90, just saying. Did Bucee's in Athens AL today. My wife saw you buy a blanket so NOW we have blanket. :)
