Basically it tries to explain away the billions of years scientists say occurred (there is a problem with that though as a scientific theory demands Observation as one of its steps and it's impossible to observe the past) with something called Time Dilation. Basically the faster one travels, the less time passes. So if God moved at hyper-lightspeed and 1 day passes for Him, Earth time would pass more quickly. It takes years to learn but it's fun and sort of an adventure and well worth the effort. We have a look at Almighty God, who created us and loves us beyond our understanding. The Bible promises us that He will wipe every tear from our eyes and we will be with Him and dwell with Him. He is gonna make a whole new cosmos and new earth. I was raised Muslim, grew to be agnostic/athiest in middle school, by high school I was finding myself attracted to alot of new age philosophies. I'm about to graduate and I believe I am ready to accept YHWH and Jesus Christ... However it is not secret that religious institutions have corrupted and twisted the word and ideas of God... Something that makes me a bit uneasy is that number of 930. 93 is supposedly an occultic number introduced to Satanism by Allister Crowley. I believe this is why in the heliocentric model, Earth is 93million miles from the Sun. My question is how to know what has been corrupted and twisted in the Bible. As even the Vatican has admitted that many book were not even written by the apostles to which they are credited. I very much want to give my life to God, however the waters are muddy as to what is truely from him and what has been artificially created by man. First, let me say that this video is excellent, keep them coming. I just have one little complaint. I'm a young Earth Creationist, but you (and millions of others) are mistaken when you cite the Second Law of Thermodynamics as broadly as you do. One would think that the word "Thermodynamics" would be a clue to everyone that the law applies only to energy. The Second Law of Thermodynamics describes Energy's universal tendency to flow downhill. The Second Law should not be conflated with the Entropy Function of Information Theory. Also, the Second Law and Thermodynamic Entropy have nothing to do with any subjective sense of "order" or "disorder". To equate Thermodynamic Entropy with perceived disorder like general decay or like a messed up room is a logically flawed comparison. A room with low Thermodynamic Entropy that say, has all its air molecules gathered into a teacup sized volume with vacuum elsewhere, will explosively revert to a higher entropy state at the first opportunity. But a room with low subjective entropy and is well organized and neat won't explosively become messy all by itself. A low subjective entropy painted fence won't explosively unpaint itself. There is a clear difference between thermodynamic entropy and subjective disorder/entropy. The Second Law is a generalization drawn from our experience of the probability that particles with high excitation will lose energy to lower energy particles. While some chance interactions may go the "wrong" way occasionally, we can be confident that the net effect for any "real world" quantity of particles, energy will flow downhill. Yet for bodies growing old, cars wearing out and fences needing paint, there isn't a clear connection to Thermodynamics that you can point to. But there ARE valid PROBABALISTIC arguments that you can make that these phenomena will all tend to go one way and that evolution is impossible. Another aspect to the fallacy of using the Second Law as a disproof of evolution is that using it requires a misunderstanding of all three laws of thermodynamics. Stated briefly, the Laws of Thermodynamics don't regulate reality, the Laws DESCRIBE reality!. A perpetual motion machine will fail to run forever because losses in every system will always be greater than any gains. You can work out the forces at play in the circular cause and effect in any perpetual motion machine and predict its behavior The perpetual motion machines don't stop because the First Law compels them to stop, most machines never studied law. Likewise Energy never flows uphill not because the Second Law forbids that to happen. It is illogical to say that something won't happen because it can't go contrary to the Second Law. Again, the Second Law is descriptive of reality, it doesn't govern it! The Second law argument when applied to living systems is really a probabalistic argument and we should frame it as such. You can be excused for making this mistake, countless PhD Scientists have done the same thing. For Christians, the Second Law argument is a logical distraction from better arguments. I'll get off my soapbox; I'm sorry, but you triggered a pet peeve of mine . Christian arguments should be without flaw I feel because there is so much at stake.

To stay on topic, though and only focus on probabilistic arguments, I find that the arguments by Stephen Meyer in his book "Signature in the Cell" are the best. Rather than making dramatic statements like that of "a self replicating cell arising spontaneously from the primordial soup would be like a 747 resulting from a tornado hitting a junkyard," instead Meyer demonstrated that the probabilistic resources of the entire Universe aren't sufficient to ensure the likely construction of something as simple as a single 200 amino acid protein within the supposed age of the Universe. Realizing the problem, leading atheist thinkers have seriously proposed a multiverse with infinite probabilistic resources as the solution. With infinite probabilistic resources, anything that is remotely possible becomes inevitable. So then it boils down to the fact that while they avoid having faith in God, they have a blind faith that the unprovable multiverse exists but that they just won the Cosmic lottery.

It seems like whichever argument they have(whether it be for the age of the universe, evolution, beginning of life/universe, etc), they end up having to lean on a great deal of faith. For example, we can observe micro evolution, or adaptations, but macro evolution cannot be observed, as it requires billions of years for it to have occurred. Of course, we can’t travel back in time, so faith is required here. Not to mention that even with all the modern technology we have available to us, we have not been able to create life from non-living matter, create a change of kinds, or create something from nothing. These are all things that the atheistic world view depends on, and each of them along with hundreds of their other beliefs require faith. I would like to say that it is normal to have faith, as when we don’t have all the answers we will need to make assumptions and inferences, but when they call our faith idiotic and illogical, they seem to ignore that they rely on faith and statistically impossible coincidences in order to make everything fit into their world view. I feel like there is enough evidence in DNA and microbiology alone to prove that there has to be a God. @@silase2029 Again, I recommend the website of Creation Ministries International as a resource. Of the organisations advocating a young Earth Creationism, CMI is my favorite. They have a stable of PHd. Scientists on staff that create a lot of content and answer questions submitted. They aren't perfect, but who is? The evidence that I consider most compelling is geological landforms that are everywhere and shout "Noachian Flood" There are those who are actively fulfilling the prophesy found in 2Peter 3:3 and say things like "There is no evidence of a global flood" when the evidence is everywhere. Once your eyes are open you see it. The walls of the Grand Canyon reveal multiple layers of sedimentary deposits that are each thousands of square miles in extent, hundreds and even thousands of feet thick. Between the layers are boundaries that are basically level and as thin as a credit card. The absence of any evidence of erosion between the layers means that very little time passed between deposition events. Boulders suspended within some of the strata tells us that the entire hundreds of feet thick slurry was in motion at once. Under all of that, is the "great nonconformity" which is a global planation surface that is inexplicable by anything less than a watery cataclysm. The evidence of soft sediment folding and erosional remnants elsewhere tell us that those layers were sometimes distorted or eroded while entire sequences were still soft.

The real question would seem to be; why don't we live 930 years? All life strives to preserve it's life, even grass. It would seem that eternity is written within. I know we can figure out the age of Adam when he had sons and also the age he was when he died. My question is how do we know these ages were from his creation? Why would he keep up with his age in the garden before sin and death entered? Are there any scriptures that support that these ages of Adam were from the first day he was created? Well Adam living 930 years is not because he was genetically perfect. He would have lived forever if it weren't for sin. In Genesis 1, the bible talks about the world being surrounded by a ball of water. With this the temperature would have always been good, oxygen and carbon dioxide would have caused plants and animals to grow bigger and live longer because it would be more condensed. That's why we find bug fossils and other creatures like dinosaurs to be bigger. If you notice, life spans drop off right after the flood. If the canopy is taken away, there would be less breathable air and the sun would harm us. I mean it talks about a few people who lived longer than Adam...
This is all well and good, but about 500 years ago or so, people were lucky to live to 40. Nowadays with all the advancements mankind has made with science and medicine, the average life span is about 75 to 80, give or take. There's a school of thought that says as time goes on, we will make further advancements in medicine, and this will be reflected in people the world over living longer and longer life spans. There could very well be a time in the not-too-distant future where the average life span will be about 100 or so, and with time, the number will continue to trend upwards. How does the Bible account for this?

The gregorian calendar is Roman. The one we have today. Did you know there were hybrids. People that were half human and half spirit being. Basically it tries to explain away the billions of years scientists say occurred (there is a problem with that though as a scientific theory demands Observation as one of its steps and it's impossible to observe the past) with something called Time Dilation. I'm a young Earth Creationist, but you (and millions of others) are mistaken when you cite the Second Law of Thermodynamics as broadly as you do. One would think that the word "Thermodynamics" would be a clue to everyone that the law applies only to energy. The Second Law of Thermodynamics describes Energy's universal tendency to flow downhill. The Second Law should not be conflated with the Entropy Function of Information Theory. Also, the Second Law and Thermodynamic Entropy have nothing to do with any subjective sense of "order" or "disorder". To equate Thermodynamic Entropy with perceived disorder like general decay or like a messed up room is a logically flawed comparison. A room with low Thermodynamic Entropy that say, has all its air molecules gathered into a teacup sized volume with vacuum elsewhere, will explosively revert to a higher entropy state at the first opportunity. But a room with low subjective entropy and is well organized and neat won't explosively become messy all by itself. A low subjective entropy painted fence won't explosively unpaint itself. There is a clear difference between thermodynamic entropy and subjective disorder/entropy.
The Second Law is a generalization drawn from our experience of the probability that particles with high excitation will lose energy to lower energy particles. While some chance interactions may go the "wrong" way occasionally, we can be confident that the net effect for any "real world" quantity of particles, energy will flow downhill. Yet for bodies growing old, cars wearing out and fences needing paint, there isn't a clear connection to Thermodynamics that you can point to. But there ARE valid PROBABALISTIC arguments that you can make that these phenomena will all tend to go one way and that evolution is impossible.
Another aspect to the fallacy of using the Second Law as a disproof of evolution is that using it requires a misunderstanding of all three laws of thermodynamics. Stated briefly, the Laws of Thermodynamics don't regulate reality, the Laws DESCRIBE reality!. A perpetual motion machine will fail to run forever because losses in every system will always be greater than any gains. You can work out the forces at play in the circular cause and effect in any perpetual motion machine and predict its behavior The perpetual motion machines don't stop because the First Law compels them to stop, most machines never studied law.
Likewise Energy never flows uphill not because the Second Law forbids that to happen. It is illogical to say that something won't happen because it can't go contrary to the Second Law. Again, the Second Law is descriptive of reality, it doesn't govern it! The Second law argument when applied to living systems is really a probabalistic argument and we should frame it as such.
You can be excused for making this mistake, countless PhD Scientists have done the same thing. For Christians, the Second Law argument is a logical distraction from better arguments. I'll get off my soapbox; I'm sorry, but you triggered a pet peeve of mine . Christian arguments should be without flaw I feel because there is so much at stake.

To stay on topic, though and only focus on probabilistic arguments, I find that the arguments by Stephen Meyer in his book "Signature in the Cell" are the best. Rather than making dramatic statements like that of "a self replicating cell arising spontaneously from the primordial soup would be like a 747 resulting from a tornado hitting a junkyard," instead Meyer demonstrated that the probabilistic resources of the entire Universe aren't sufficient to ensure the likely construction of something as simple as a single 200 amino acid protein within the supposed age of the Universe. Realizing the problem, leading atheist thinkers have seriously proposed a multiverse with infinite probabilistic resources as the solution. With infinite probabilistic resources, anything that is remotely possible becomes inevitable. So then it boils down to the fact that while they avoid having faith in God, they have a blind faith that the unprovable multiverse exists but that they just won the Cosmic lottery.

It seems like whichever argument they have(whether it be for the age of the universe, evolution, beginning of life/universe, etc), they end up having to lean on a great deal of faith. For example, we can observe micro evolution, or adaptations, but macro evolution cannot be observed, as it requires billions of years for it to have occurred. Of course, we can’t travel back in time, so faith is required here. Not to mention that even with all the modern technology we have available to us, we have not been able to create life from non-living matter, create a change of kinds, or create something from nothing. These are all things that the atheistic world view depends on, and each of them along with hundreds of their other beliefs require faith. I would like to say that it is normal to have faith, as when we don’t have all the answers we will need to make assumptions and inferences, but when they call our faith idiotic and illogical, they seem to ignore that they rely on faith and statistically impossible coincidences in order to make everything fit into their world view. I feel like there is enough evidence in DNA and microbiology alone to prove that there has to be a God. @@silase2029 Again, I recommend the website of Creation Ministries International as a resource. Of the organisations advocating a young Earth Creationism, CMI is my favorite. They have a stable of PHd. Scientists on staff that create a lot of content and answer questions submitted. They aren't perfect, but who is? The evidence that I consider most compelling is geological landforms that are everywhere and shout "Noachian Flood" There are those who are actively fulfilling the prophesy found in 2Peter 3:3 and say things like "There is no evidence of a global flood" when the evidence is everywhere. Once your eyes are open you see it. The walls of the Grand Canyon reveal multiple layers of sedimentary deposits that are each thousands of square miles in extent, hundreds and even thousands of feet thick. Between the layers are boundaries that are basically level and as thin as a credit card. The absence of any evidence of erosion between the layers means that very little time passed between deposition events. Boulders suspended within some of the strata tells us that the entire hundreds of feet thick slurry was in motion at once. Under all of that, is the "great nonconformity" which is a global planation surface that is inexplicable by anything less than a watery cataclysm. The evidence of soft sediment folding and erosional remnants elsewhere tell us that those layers were sometimes distorted or eroded while entire sequences were still soft.
Between Adam and Noah, no entropy in that line, Noah even lived to 950.
Now, between Noah and Abraham, the entropy is much more rapid than today. We do see extreme cases living to the age of Moses (120), in Japan or on Crete. Abraham was not very much older, he died at 175 - nearly down at modern lifespans.
Why this rapid decay this particular time?
For one thing, God had said he would shorten lifespans (unless that word in Genesis 6 refers to there being 120 years left to the Flood), but for another thing, after the Flood, there would have been much more cosmic radiation, since the build up of carbon 14 in atmosphere was about 10 times as rapid as today.
Would you agree that one cause, namely more cosmic rays (than before Flood and than today) would have had three results:
* more carbon 14 fairly quickly (perhaps 35 000 extra years at Flood and only 1200 years instant age at Abraham in Genesis 14 = pmC (1) goes from 1.45 to 86.488) in about 1000 years (actually less if you go by Masoretic timelines, which I don't)
* colder weather (partially explaining the ice age)
* quicker mutations than today meaning, even from very perfect, man degraded to about as bad as today, or perhaps 2 or 3 times better.

The real question would seem to be; why don't we live 930 years? All life strives to preserve it's life, even grass. It would seem that eternity is written within. I know we can figure out the age of Adam when he had sons and also the age he was when he died. My question is how do we know these ages were from his creation? Why would he keep up with his age in the garden before sin and death entered? Are there any scriptures that support that these ages of Adam were from the first day he was created? Well Adam living 930 years is not because he was genetically perfect. He would have lived forever if it weren't for sin. In Genesis 1, the bible talks about the world being surrounded by a ball of water. With this the temperature would have always been good, oxygen and carbon dioxide would have caused plants and animals to grow bigger and live longer because it would be more condensed. That's why we find bug fossils and other creatures like dinosaurs to be bigger. If you notice, life spans drop off right after the flood. If the canopy is taken away, there would be less breathable air and the sun would harm us. I mean it talks about a few people who lived longer than Adam...

This is all well and good, but about 500 years ago or so, people were lucky to live to 40. Nowadays with all the advancements mankind has made with science and medicine, the average life span is about 75 to 80, give or take. There's a school of thought that says as time goes on, we will make further advancements in medicine, and this will be reflected in people the world over living longer and longer life spans. There could very well be a time in the not-too-distant future where the average life span will be about 100 or so, and with time, the number will continue to trend upwards. How does the Bible account for this?

Perhaps they used another type of calendar. Man! I can't believe no one has ever thought of that fact our calendar is BRAND NEW compared to those times so no they did not live 930 of our years not saying they had short life spans but did not live 930 bc they used a different way of measuring time

The gregorian calendar is Roman. The one we have today. Did you know there were hybrids. People that were half human and half spirit being. These were men of reknown, such as Hercules, etc. That's why the Bible says Noah was perfect in his generations. There were NO hybrids. The devil tried to pollute the blood line that Jesus had to come though. The devil tried at least five times to thwart the plan of man's salvation. We humans have an inheritance which the devil stole. Jesus had to become a human because ONLY a human AND a human relative only could buy back a lost inheritance. This is why Jesus had to become a human and pay for our sins. He bought it back for us. It was given to Adam. Adam threw it away in ignorance. The devil stole it by craft. Jesus bought it back in righteousness. Most people have no idea what is in store, what went before and what is now and what will be. Some do but not hardly enough.
