CORRECTIONS!!! I apologize. Sometimes I talk so fast that I don't catch the corrections until after I watch it back. 1 - You can find synagogues in St. George, but you'll have to drive to Vegas to find a mosque. 2 - Cedar City averages about 11 inches of snow in the winter, NOT 1.5 inches. Thank you for your patience with my speedy words! 😊
Hey Elizabeth, my S.O. and I are moving to the north side of town on the 1st. Just wanted to let you know that we have been using your vids as a guide for the past couple of months, and you definitely sold us on the city. Thanks for what you do!
I’m so glad to hear you found the videos helpful! I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. Please reach out when you’re ready to buy. I’d love to help you! (435)477-6740 or Elizabeth@LivingInCedarCityUT.com
I would add Starlink to the Internet services. I use it on the road and plan to use it when our house is built. It's been averaging 450 mbs even during storms.
Well researched list - and I was pleasantly surprised that it veered into all sorts of areas that I did not even think about. So good on ya for your research - and for providing color & context on each point. Could I ask - is the wind in the area “brisk” variety type (i.e. pesky but manageable) … or the dreaded “gusty” variety (i.e. stirring up dust etc. and making life on a given day tad miserable). Also - Food Friday challenge for you. If you haven’t done so already - would you mind hunting down a Mediterranean and/or Indian food type place. Thx. Thank you for the channel - it’s very helpful as I contemplate relocation to the area from So Cal. And you are so right about Cedar City folks being friendly, kind and warm hearted. Prior to my recent retirement, I was a service rep for Ron’s Sporting Goods on Main Street. The owners (Ron & his daughter Vicki) treated me so nicely for over 25 years of my visits to the store!
Thank you! I appreciate it. 😊 I would say the wind is all of the above, lol. I’d say it’s my biggest con of living here, but I gladly take it, because I love most everything else. There is an Indian restaurant I still need to try here. I’ll keep you posted on it! I’m glad to hear you’ve found the people friendly here as well. That seems to be the consensus of everyone I help move here.
We don’t really have a Mediterranean restaurant. Used to have a hummus bowl place but the hours and location were strange. As for Indian Restaurants, we are supposed to get a new location of the Red Fort here (now they have a food truck). Never a bad experience with them. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend either of the other two Indian restaurants here in town, if you know what real Indian food is supposed to taste like.

Yes! Starlink is used a lot on the mountain. Great advice, Bruce. Thank you!

@@rvmush3883 Thank you for the great response! Very helpful.
Definitely don't miss the wind.
I’m definitely not a fan of the wind.
