Of the two, I prefer Crawford, but my problem with Crawford is that he tends to get hit too much, and I don’t know whether he can withstand Spence’s barrage. I know Spence can take a hit, but can Crawford? I just think Spence is too formidable.
The narrative that he gets hit too much is untrue. A lot of these punches are blocked or rolled with or he’s just getting out of the way. Not saying he’s mayweather but he has far better defence than Spence. Spence is there to be hit and he gets cracked with big shots frequently.

I lost all respect for Roy after he got popped for PEDs. Errol's better now than before his car accident which was a blessing in disguise. He's dedicated his life to his craft afterwards. Derrick James gives Errol the ultimate competitive advantage. Not only is Derrick James the best trainer/coach... he gives the perfect instructions in the corner during the fight.

Spence sticks with the fundamentals but different subtle levels. It looks boring but if you know boxing, Spence is elite. Bud sticks with more athleticism and reaction. Since he's a switch hitter , he gives different paces and rhythms which causes alot of boxers confusion. It's going to be a great fight but I'm leaning towards Spence.

By round 2/3 Spence is gone be ready for a fight. They say Crawford a late starter but I can’t say the same about Spence.
Such a scenario can end to ways. Either way it forces crawford to actually fight sooner/Less download time
1. Causes crawford to be more agressive sooner and possibly time Errol for an Early knock out.
2. Causes Crawford to fatigue faster and consequently get punished. Spence as we know is consistent and powerful from 1-12.

Crawford is all over the ring. He moves so much and uses angles. His power isn't as high as spence but if he keeps moving and picking his shots I think it will give him room to land some good shots

Crawford has the ring IQ advantage but he has to win rounds early or it’ll be a game or catch up; which means he could make a mistake late. Spence us most vulnerable after he jabs-it can be timed pretty easily. Pull-counter is what Crawford needs.

Porter called it, he convinced me months ago when he was asked I just wasn’t ready for Bud to win it LIKE THAT. Hate it for Spence, he was heartbroken thinking about every punch he threw, he got punished with two more before he could even get his hand back.
BTW Porter and Jones Jr. have to be the best two personalities in boxing. Supreme athletes and competitors, humble men, and still sharp as tacks and well spoken. I hope they do this for a long time.

I dont think its going to be chess with spence because his style depends on hos volume of punches. Now crawford on the other hand will be waiting for the counter more then spence, bur he will throw punches based on how the fight is also going. It will be a good fight 50/50.
What I do feel is getting overlooked in this fight is Spence’s trainer. I do feel he’s an “x-factor.” While he obviously isn’t fighting the fight, he has a high boxing IQ as a successful fighter and now trainer/coach. He will have Spence ready for whatever Crawford wants to bring.

Shawn was doing great right up until he almost got knocked down. maybe Shawn was even winning up until that one punch by Spence right at the end of the fight. but when Shawn fought Crawford I could see exactly when the balance of power shifted. it was partially a change in Shawn that I saw. but I also saw Crawford suddenly with a different confidence. I could see him figuring out Shawn, and I said to myself Shawn is about to be taken out. I could see it and feel it about to happen. but when Spence caught Porter. it wasn't because of a momentum swing. it was just a well timed punch by Spence that finally connected. but I didn't see it or feel it coming. Just feel that Crawford more of a technical shart shooter puncher and will punch between Errols punches that's where he's gonna have success. Spence is more of a slow starter and has to be a little more planted and in position because he's lengthy to punch and that's where Crawford takes advantage in little moments being a little more fluid offensively.
