Great Dr, however, I think you changed the definition and description of research methodology ad research design. I think research design most especially in academia and ideally in social science is either one of the four; exploratory, descriptive, explanatory, or experimental. Therefore I understand research design to be more like the focus and the peculiar style of your research. it could be exploratory or any of the others, and this tells the reader what to expect from the work. on the other hand, I agree with your description of research methodology, being the systematic way of doing your research. as a matter of fact, I consider the umbrella of the other two; methods and design.

@@HassaanTohid, I confuse the classification for these three words 'method, methodology and design'. Let me tell as I understand. Method and methodology as same where design I understand quali, quan or mixed. After that I confuse again where u but Case study, Ethno, Ground theory .... exectra.
@@abdifataha.habbane7347 yes that’s another school of thought. Its also not incorrect to say that methodology and method are the same. There has always been a disagreement. Just use whatever you like the most. Make sure your concept is right thats the main goal.
