    Changing the weights and spring on Cvtech TrailBloc.
    I used 18,4g weights and 0951-1017 spring (200/1600N)
    Original weights are 16g and the spring is 0951-1036 (250/600N)
    Tools I used:
    8mm socket for the cover
    18mm socket for the bolt
    30mm socket for the nut
    note that the bolt and the nut are counterclockwise threaded on this ATV
    There are balancing marks on the edges of the clutch which must be aligned.
    This video is not how one should do this job, but just for me testing my camera and showing how i did this.

    I have the zforce 950 , the cvteck clutches are the easiest clutch to mod. They are very simple and they work great. Very simple to clock the secondary too

    Hi there, I think I am been stupid, but I cannot see where you show " There are balancing marks on the edges of the clutch which must be aligned " Where are these marks, I cannot see them on mine... Thanks.

      Hi, it is quite hard to see them on the video, but they are matching lines on the outer edge of the clutch halves. I tried to show them at 0:56

      Just a note: i have heard that some newer clutches dont have the balancing marks i'm talking about.

    Thx for the great video! Maybe u can help me? I have a completely stock 2020 CFMoto CForce 600 touring ATV with the factory CVTech clutch. I’m wanting to improve throttle response to engage clutch faster (without revving so high) & also improve low/mid range torque. What specific Trailbloc spring & weights would u recommend? As a side note- I may step up to 1-2” taller tires in the future. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

      Hey, and thx! I'm not by any means an expert to give conclusive answer to your question. And I have no experience with the 600. I would suggest to read forums and find out what other people are using to tune their clutch. I think u want to reclock the secondary a bit and by trial and error find out the right setting for your primary tuning. As a rule of thumb, if u put more weights in the primary, rpms go down and vice versa. And stiffer spring moves the rpm band up, so it's a delicate balance between them all. Hope you find out your settings🤙

    Hi I just changed my drive belt on my cf moto 520l At idle say in park or neutral both clutches were suppose to not spin. When you give it gas they start to spin but my secondary don't stop spinning
    Can someone explain to me whats suppose to happen?

    Hello everyone , how should the rollers in the variator be heavier or lighter? To have better acceleration and have more climbing power.

    Hi mate, can you tell me... I am re-installing the thrust collar ( the black part ) back onto the drive pulley ( moving plate assy ) and when I push it firmly down, its quite stiff to slide off again.. Is this ok ? Or should it slide up and down very easily ? Thanks Adam

    • @Postipena
      @Postipena  3 года назад

      Are you talking about the part at 1:36? It should slide very easily up and down.

    • @adambird1928
      @adambird1928 3 года назад

      @@Postipena yes correct.. It does slide very easily most of the way, then if i push it really hard down all the way it is stiff to slide back up....

      @@adambird1928 Its should be easy to move. Make sure your weights are right way round and against the center part when installing.

    New weights are heavier than stock??? You get lower rpm clutch engage??

    • @Postipena
      @Postipena  2 года назад +2

      Yes and yes, the new weights are heavier. It's all about matching the tension of the spring rate. With the stock spring it would lower the engage rpm and so it does with the spring I went with as wanted for smoother takeoff. Not optimal for mudding. But the powerband in high rpm is much better. From what I've learned, it may lower the rpms too much, so a tad lighter weights are better.

    Hello friend.
    Whas is the weight you put in and is that a softer of stiffer spring?

    • @Postipena
      @Postipena  3 года назад +1

      Hello.
      I covered it in the description, but the weights are 18.4g (original is 16g), and the spring is rated differently; 200/1600 (original is 250/600) so it is softer in low rpm area and much stiffer in high rpm area.

      @Postipena  3 года назад

      @@user-rv1vl1xl8v yes i have reclocked the secondary to A1. I tried B2, but i think it was not good for road driving. I put heavier weights to match the spring being stiffer. I dont hit rev limiter, but i have taken the beep out. I think it beeps always over 7krpm and i didn't like it. My atv revs to 7200rpm now from standstill.
