    Thanks mate. You saved me from the increasingly demoralising attempt I’d been making.
    Starting by putting both bands on the ring that attaches to the mic stand was the break through for me. It was easy after that.

    Can you please tell me the length of that thum screw ..i recently brok my shock mount screw due to over tightening..i only know i need m5 screw but the length (in millimetres) i dont know ..can you please take it out once and let me know the length of it 🙏

    Thanks for this! Question: Have you found a source for replacement elastic? I can't find one, not on their Amazon store nor their web site, nor anywhere else online!

      Hey Tony. This is a great question. I have actually found one. Many months after this video, my elastic got slack again. What I ended up using was simple elastic rope that tailors use or the kind wrist band designers use. So you can get it in a DIY shop, or tailoring shop, or Amazon. You then cut the elastic rope to the length you need and tie it with a simple knot. It works really well. Here's a link to one I found on Amazon. Though, I got the one I'm using locally, this could help you. Make sure to check the thickness of the rope if that matters to you. amzn.to/3JhbSth. Let me know how this goes.
