Since I'm learning snowboarding after 14 years of skiing, seing Jon taking it so easy is kinda frustrating haha

agreed ^^ and +saywhatthrice33 it's a totally different technique and on top of that he switched positions so it's totally different from regular snwboarding... try it yourself, you'll see how difficult it will be

that's true. "You have to sometimes step out of your comfort zone". We've been doing this since we are kids. We only stop as we mature and learn to be cautious which more often serves as hindrance rather than opportunity to grow.
most people always want to be comfortable with things around them lol
yeah kids are more daring because they don't care whatever happens
humans do step out of their comfort zone as they grow, but that's very gradual and cautious

A lot of my skier friends do admit that snowboarding can be more fun when it comes to powder, and thats some serious powder there!

What I think is awesome about Jon is he is a genuine guy. He could of easily just edited the footage and shown just awesome boarding. but instead shows he wiping out a couple of times. Your the man. Loving this Vlog trip.

Vicay For the sake of Mr.Olsson's economics they could try remote video editing in such expensive trips....its easy granting Marcus adm remote acces to Jon's Mac. Takes more time? Yes. But saves ticket costs, lodging, food....

After watching this vlog for... I don't know how long, from the summer yachting days in the mediterraen sea probably. And since then I've watched probably 70-80% of all the daily vlogs, I have to admit this is truly a king of liife-style vlogs. It's truly enjoyable to watch.

Seriously one of the hardest things I find while going downhill like that are those super quick desicions of where to slide between the trees.
I mean, one second you are out of focus and BAM! Right into the tree you go. This looks so much fun, you're a serious pro dude!

Jon you are crazy for going snowboarding in powder up in the mountains with little to no experience, thats how you define a pro athlete - took me hours to basically manage to get down a green slope on skis! well done and loved the vlog, beautiful place
I could see lot of people ditching and scolding Marcus for not going on skiing with Jon. Come on people, can't you see he is sick?! But still giving an amazing vlog with his editing skills on whatever footage provided by Jon. Also, he is not a professional and crazy athlete like Jon. as Jon is kinda used to these kind of environment for so long.

You should lift the camera a bit on your helmet, in order to show not only snow ! Becouse the views ARE AMAZING ! And i think everyone would like to see that !

It's been really nice seeing Jon in his element in these vlogs, haven't even noticed Marcus isn't there, Jon has done an awesome job at filming!!
Jon this is more amazing footage. What a gorgeous landscape. Two feedbacks if you don't mind?! 1. In the last two vlogs the music choice didn't make the most of the wow factor... they sounded a bit tame and lightweight maybe choose more bass? 2. Should you wear the helmet Go-Pro pointing a little more up? At least for some runs so we can see more of the mountains and sky while you are descending. I'm loving these vlogs, congratulations ! Marcus hope you are feeling better buddy !

its all about knowing edge control and being used to going down a hill centered. its like how i have friends that never skied in their lives but after a couple day they are hitting handrails in the park. its when you are new to it all, snowboarding is harder then skiing as you have to learn it more all at once where skiing you can take your time more.

It's pretty cool knowing that snowboarding can kick even the ass of a pro skier. I don't feel so bad now about those first 3 torturous days when I learned how to snowboard, when I wanted to die trying to get up!

I have been skiing for 40 years and surf goofy and I tried snowboarding goofy and hated it. I am going to try regular next time and I bet I will pick it up. Marcus might have altitude sickness? Does he feel nausea, have headaches with a low appetite? Then he has to get to a lower elevation.
