Please pin this solution. What I did is I allowed the better to run down to 0%. I let it charge to like 38% and put it back on. It's been on for over 10mins now. It was restarting every 2mins approximately. But now it's stable Alhamdulillah 😊 By the way I actually tried every solution before allowing the battery to run down. Even the clear cache method.
Thank you so much for the cache trick. My phone must have turned off 10 times in 20 minutes, AFTER, I clicked on a pinterest link that apparently was spam. " congratulations your a winner " kept popping up on my screen. After that the phone kept shutting down. When I watched your video and cleared my cache it has yet to turn off again! Thank you so much!
just got my phone yesterday and it restarted like 3 times until now, one time when i was setting it up, another time when i was transfering stuff and like 20 minutes ago when i was just in my camera app. do you think the cache wipe will fix it? also did this happen to you when you got it or later on?
@@nav5ft150 yeah mine did too i got a new one which unfortunately is a bit overheating but its from the phone, like its made that way, as for the first one which restarted , they easily changed it and gave me this one, bcoz they knew its a problem w it. Just talk to em and see.
They said the same to me, 2 times, but the problem still persists. They classify the problem as software error and as long as it's software and not hardware error, they will not give you a new device. You can bring it 100 times for a repair and they will always say that it's a software error (what they will do is factory reset it and update the software to its newest version; something that even my grandma can do). So basically we're stuck in an endless loop. Such a huge dissapointment in Samsung.

I also think if you have an older phone experiencing random restarts it could be due to insufficient RAM for the amount of apps or type of apps running or insufficient onboard storage if you're running low. In my case the phone started freezing and restarting not too long after the low internal storage warning.

An Android phone running an outdated or early iteration of a major system software release is prone to random or frequent restarts Hence, it's a good idea to begin by checking for newer Android updates since they often resolve persistent bugs and improve performance in general.
I disagree with this, if a phone runs stable on a OS how will an update fix what isn't broken? Why would it start giving problems all of a sudden. I have an s10+ that was running android for several years now with not a single issue. When it comes to phones and smart watches I've never had an update make anything better. I have however had an update cause bugs and issues and make phones slower. A new OS is always designed with more features meaning its more taxing on the battery and cpu/ram. Also there is an incentive for manufacturers to create problems for you if you have an older phone. So that you'll start to feel outdated and like your phone is slow and it is time for an upgrade. Only if a phone has a major bug would I recommend an update. Or if the update will bring major benefits that you cant live without. Do research before updating cause it may break your device and you can't go back. Im fully convinced updates are downgrades sold to you in pretty packages filled with promises and features. There is of course cases where updates do make things better or fix a crucial bug. But if there are any new features I've never seen battery life improve. And if your phone is demanding more juice out of that battery, that battery will run hotter and age the battery significantly faster. Batteries can't be changed as easy any more. And new oem batteries are almost always impossible to find. Meaning if they break your battery it's pretty much time for a new phone.
So I have a Galaxy S21 and I was looking for a solution because my phone kept turning itself on and off back to back. It wouldn't make it past the screen saying Samsung and the logo before it would turn itself back off, this happened for so long my phone got hot. I put it outside in the cold for a bit to cool it off before bringing it back in to work on it. While it was cooling down I was searching for a solution which brought me to this video. I assumed it wouldn't provide a solution because I don't have this phone and the title didn't express my exact problem, but I'm glad to say I was wrong. Not too long into the video you held down the side button and the volume down button simultaneously to make it restart and you kept it on there until Samsung came up on the screen, so I tried it and low and behold it worked, I had to hold it down for a pretty long time but it did exactly as you said, it restarted and got out of that loop it was in. Who would've thought the solution was so simple. I'm saying all of this to say.....thank you.

Hi, any of these methods did not work for me, but my partner removed the memory card and it's working well now, some apps were installed on the memory card and that was causing the issues, hopefully, this will work for you as well:) let me know in the comments if it worked for you!
thank you it helped me
I have a Samsung galaxy s20 fe it keeps restarting. At first they told me to do a factory reset and it didn't work so they exchanged it for a new one. I have had it for 2 days and it has already restarted 3 times. They said that I will have to send it to a repair place so that can look into it further. I love this phone but I can't believe it is happening.
Story of my life just bought the phone 3 days ago apparently it's software I'm still within my return period but I love this phone too much...honestly might switch to one plus if it restarts one more time.
@@Kidvicious707 did they waive the $70 return fee?Just got mine a week ago. Gonna return mine it started during an update. And has done it about 4or5 times since.
@@southcarolinar6167 I contacted Samsung through Facebook messenger and they sent me a link to make an appointment to a repair place. They took care of everything I didn't have to pay anything at all. I'm on my 3rd phone and it hasn't restarted so hopefully this is the last phone I'm getting replaced
What if my phone is rebooting 3 times per minute?

I have this issue in my s21 ultra and it is Killing meeee!
I went to Samsung and did software updates and reset a couple of times and still this issue gets even worse and worse!
I tried a factory reset with my S20 ultra, still happening. I just cleared the cache, but if a factory reset didn't do it, I doubt that will
@@petrosvorvis7216 for all i know, in samsung community. Ppl that had this issue had their phones replaced.
Here in Dubai samsung says its not our policy to replace. We only fix.
Yet they don't knw wtf is up with phone to start with! This suckkkkkkks
Btw I had a magnet on my phone's case and removed it.
So far 3 hrs passed and so far so good 🤔
Also cleaned the cache
Mine hasn't rebooted in safe mode since the factory reset - starting to think it's an app...

@Ant Smith You can do it here. I used this video as I had same issue. You have to connect to your laptop. This video makes it simple :) ruclips.net/video/xT9ND7XPeRc/видео.html

I have not downloaded any apps in a while. My tablet is on an infinite loop after downloading the latest update. Any suggestions in on my case since it was the update that mess it up
I have tried all of these steps, even replaced the battery... nothing. Help. No water or moister at all also.

"I tried all but the thing that worked for me is going to settings > device care> three dots on right side corner > advanced > turn off the auto optimisation"
This one seems to be working for a number of people:
"I tried all of the above, what actually fixed it was turning off the fingerprint sensor. I guess they will update it at some time."
These is an update in the works apparently, so that should be good.
@@Siberius- did the update fix it? I have some problem with s21
Thank you so much, this helped me by a LOT! helpful video☺☺
Mine at least 1 to 4 times a day since software update keeps restarting. I've only seen it happen once but other times it says "enter pin after phone restart". Trouble is I can't get on to wipe cache as my charge port is faulty and I CANT get on the recovery menu unless able is connected to a pc (I do need to take it to Samsung repair but the local shops closed down).. How did you get on it without cable attached.. I tried 25 times then gave up and it won't work without connecting to a pc but the socket is too loose
i tried all the steps you show but the problem is still on my phone, it keeps on restarting while charging but if its not charging its not resetting, i hope you can help me with it. thanks a lot and more power
Recycled s20 ultra. Reset from Amazon. Would reboot at full charge.
I think clearing the cache did the trick. Did every step and stopped with that. Thx

My Note 20 Ultra randomly freezes and reboots when browsing the internet regardless of browser and nothing has helped.
same, i also have a note20 ultra and mine keeps restarting at least twice a day. I've done everything possible. @@HoustonTexxas did you fix it ?
But when its restarting so fast that you couldn't have time to open settins ...what should i do now??
I had the same problem, do what he did on 3:13 but instead of doing the data cache remove or whatever just do the factory reset option
I just tried to wipe cache partition on mine, but it just keeps restarting when I want to switch it on lol. It keeps restarting non stop 150 times a day. S20 5G just after my warranty expired
Nice info for galaxy S20/S20+/S20 Ultra users. 👍
Any other options other them factory reset my samsung galaxy a12 stil restarting random after few hours
You don't give any fixed solution, just beating around the bushes
Just did a few of these, hopefully it will work, just got my phone yesterday and it restarted like 3 times until now, one time when i was setting it up, another time when i was transfering stuff and like 20 minutes ago when i was just in my camera app.
Hopefully it was fixed, if not, im gonna have to take my phone to the store i got it from.
I've had my plus since may and just now it did it by itself. Pretty damn angry about this.
@@jpayne3616 i took the phone to the shop i got it from, i was lucky that the guy there was really cool and said that if it restarts by itself it has a soft problem and he will send it to manufacturer right away, so he changed it and gave me another one just like this one. The safe mode seemed to work. I followed all the way to this point left it off and now seems to stay on. Unsure if auto restart had to do with it. I don't recall it going off and on at this point but maybe it had the reason I tried safe mode.
It use go off every 5 mins. I looked at it for count down at 1055 and it's been on since now 1249pm
settings > device care> three dots on right side cornor > advanced > your auto optimisation turn it off ..... this worked for me

okay, i don't want to be mean, but how the heck si someone supposed to force a reebot if their phone keeps restarting. the problem i had is that it powers off for no reason, then shows the battery empty and then it shows it at the percentage it was before. i cannot even open it proppertly bcz it powers off while trying to open
Does these auto restarts mean my battery needs to be changed?
I follow all the steps and didn't work.
I start replacing the lcd and I soonest i connect the new lcd start giving me the problem and I wasn't able to keep the phone on to follow some steps, like and app or software.
