We are rather fond of the little caravan, however who couldn't just fall in love with that Bermuda! Those skylights are awesome. And all that interior down-lighting, everything just sparkles! Love it. Great to see these beautiful new caravans, excellent video as always, thanks for the tours!
Do like the look of the Cruiser and Barracuda although I’m with ya missus on the TV/window debate, mainly cos we don’t bother with a TV in our van. Overall though I’m struggling to see where the price comes from
I complimented something? Maybe I'll edit that out :-) Actually, I don't dislike any caravan, we all just get the one that suits our needs. For me layout is the most important consideration (well and cost of course) I don't really dislike any manufacturers, they're all as good (or as bad) as each other. It's a tricky balance doing caravan reviews, as at some point you're talking about a caravan someone owns and loves - their pride and joy!
@@CaravanVlogger indeed. It’s all horses four courses. Your name might be cropping up in an upcoming video of ours. Don’t worry, we aren’t reviewing you.
Great video Graham. That first Buc you went in said to me : 'go to the stores and pick any cabinets door that we have left over..... don't worry if they match, we need to clear out the left overs'....... or it just me?
Thanks for watching. Pretty sure it's not just you. All manufacturers seem to do it. It looks like they try to incorporate differences between the lounge and kitchen. But it makes it look like they ran out of one cupboard and replaced it with another half way through the build...
Hiya.. we had a great time at the NEC on Sunday.... shame you weren't there when we were.... it was mega busy as I'm sure you would know lol.....our fave vans were the Swift... they were stunning and met all of our needs....oh to be able to afford one lol... se you soon 'The Camp Caravanners'
Good video Graham. Glad we had our Buccanner Commodore in May paid £41500 with air con and 4wd movers. Be touching £50 k now. Couldn’t have done it now.
Another great vlog graham, you always make us smile. Just curious, where there any affinity’s on the elddis stand? We ordered ours in July 2021, and been told delivery in January 23.
The fridges that Elddis fit dont open both ways, they only open one side. You can tell by the black plastic handles rather than the silver metal ones on the dual opening fridges. So far the fridge in our 2022 Elddis has been fine.
Thanks for watching and for the info 👍🏻 I never actually tried to open it 🤔However I’d rather it only opened one way, we have trouble with ours and it drive me mad 🙄 I’ll get the dealer to have a look when I’m next in
Great video. I am a joiner by trade and have noticed that the dearer vans are constructed the same as the cheaper ones. Upgraded mdf fronts are the only difference on the more expensive ones. Besides soft furnishings and a bit of tech. To me the mid range and maybe some lower range are far better value. Mdf is cheap so it's a bit of the kings clothes on the dearer ones. Just me ?
Great content thanks Graham. That kind of money and no AC! When will more manufacturers start fitting AC as standard I wonder. I wouldn't buy a car without it and being lucky enough to have it in my van wouldn't be without it in a van also..
Thanks for watching. Yes I wondered that myself. I don't know if it's a manufacturer / dealer arrangement as our AC was a dealer fit option, I couldn't get it factory fitted. Top end caravans should at least have AC and possibly movers fitted as standard. But again movers are fitted by the dealer, not factory even though they leave all the wiring in place...
Not sure what Eldis (who make these 20 mins from me) were thinking with the awful decals on the Xplore. We saw them on Saturday at NEC and noticed other.people commenting with the same. The lighting on the £47k caravan looks great and makes our Lusso 2 look like a bargain. Last caravan was a Bailey Jive 570/6 with kitchen on right looking towards the rear and never even thoughtit was an issue which it wasn't nor is it on the left in the Lusso 2 Notice you said Eldis are all Hymer...are they part of Hymer now? Keep up the good reviews , thumbs up!
Yes tv or a sea view.. Mine is the latter… Though traditionally we never really watch tv 📺.. Just listened to classical FM 😊.. Can’t wait for our cruiser as it’s been on order since June 21.. Apparently it’s due in Jan 23,fingers and toes crossed 🤞 😊. Great review.. Ps they are rather expensive luckily we had a price guarantee by Hymer,so a saving of a few ££
Thanks for watching hope you get it on time, not long to wait now. We're not big TV watchers in the caravan and never watch it abroad. When we were away over xmas / new year it rained and did come in handy for an afternoon watching Ben Hur 😂
For me the Bermuda is all wrong, as you said the seats are too deep, I’m 6’2” & would probably be ok but someone small is going to suffer from their knees not reaching the edge. The kitchen into the awning is nuts. Those kitchen cupboards would drive me crazy having to dodge them when opening.
Only problem we've had with a fridge with two way opening is if I've opened it with one handle, my wife tries to open the same door with the other handle, leaving me holding a detached fridge door in my hand😭
I just cant see £48000 in a caravan! It’s nice but blimey! Nearly £50000! But then me and her, well, we are pretty poor, almost destitute really, and Northern…..
Thanks for the shoutout and having a look at our little Xplore 304. It’s like a tardis in there. Basic but cute and compact. We love ours
You’re welcome, thanks for watching

We have been told we should get it also in Jan 23.
Bit ridiculous really 21 months wait..
Where is there place to eat inside those buccaneer caravans?
I see that caravan escapades mentioned you took the plunge does that mean you have baught the leveling system?

I so agree with the kitchen window going into the awning- you need fresh air above the cooker and sink
@@annhunt8359 we have the Bermuda & that doesn’t really bother us, mainly because you can’t open the kitchen window anyway because it hits the door! 😂
@@pjallitt really!?
@@annhunt8359 yep! We had an Elddis 840 before this & that was the same, the door folds back over the kitchen window 🤷♂️

The prices are mental, we bought a 2021 Bermuda for £34,500 including AWD movers, 18months later & you wouldn’t get much change from £50k!
Great idea of stating the obvious .
Cruiser and Barracuda would be ok on a seasonal pitch
